Some Thoughts On Dieting And Getting Skinny

I've been thinking about assigning a food to my exercises...

This Zumba session is for those fries I'm having later.

These two miles are for that Venti Iced Mocha I'm drinking tomorrow.

These set-ups are for the three slices of pizza I had last Friday.

Maybe if I use that strategy the exercising will seem worth it...like I'm actually getting something for my efforts?!  Well, you know besides the normal benefits of exercising.

Have you watched Zombieland?  It's hilarious.   I also learned a valuable tip.  Cardio is rule #1 in surviving a Zombie attack.

They eat the fatties first.  Just one more reason to get skinny.

I wish I was "naturally skinny". I want to be one of those girls who HAS to eat a cheeseburger to put on a few pounds.

One last little thought bubble that's in my head - I think if they're going to mess around with genes...altering them and such, they need to focus their efforts in that direction...how to clone the "skinny gene"...and transfer it into a fat girl's body.

Now, that is something that I could support.  I'd even make t-shirts.

Oh how I would love to have the skinny gene.

Or be able to wear skinny jeans.

Don't hate me, but I've always been skinny. I'd prefer to be called thin, but that's just me. It was torture in school though, I got teased a lot and I think it may have been worse than being fat!

I guess it just goes to show, we are never satisfied with our bodies, no matter what.

If I had a few extra bucks, I could definitely get behind some skinny gene research.

Not only will the zombies eat the fatties first, if you do cardio you'll be able to outrun them :)

I'm commenting on this before I even read it because my first thought upon reading your title is they are both freaking OVERRATED!!!

I hate working out and I love eating. That is such a horrible combination!

Guess what time it is? Yep, time to lace up my shoes and get my heart pumping. I HATE this time of day!

Exactly! Who cares about hyrbrid veggies and fruits in off seasons when they could be working to clone the skinny gene. That is research I can get behind!

I love your t-shirt idea...you could make a mint off those! :)

Amen sista! I'd definitely like to have the skinny gene. Sadly, I got the "everything goes to my junk in the trunk" gene.

When they come out with that gene I need to sign up!

This sounds like a completely destructive plan (transferring to a skinny girl's body) and I'm behind you 100%!

Pass on the skinny gene if you find it.

I love the tshirt idea!

The older I get the harder it is to lose weight and the easier it is to just look flabby. It sucks.

I'm like you... I'd give my husband's right testicle if I were so skinny I NEEDED to eat a cheeseburger to gain weight.

Cosmicbeaver?! Wonder where they came up with that name. lol
You are so right though. I want skinny genes! I've NEVER been naturally thin. EVER.
I think I was a size 4...WHEN I was 4.
And I always have to diet to maintain.
Crap. Now I'm depressed.

I started dieting and exercising last week and its been one big fail :( The exercise part I have done good with but the food not so much. I just love to eat.

THIS is why I love you! You are hilarious!

I would totally buy that shirt. And I would wear it everywhere.

That's my old teaching friend up there. Be nice to her. She just started her blog. =) As if you could ever be mean.

Does that T-shirt come in an xxl? Cuz that's what I'd need right now.

I haven't seen Zombieland, but the kids tell me it's awesome.

i've been assigning food to exercise and i think that's why i'm not getting anywhere. I wish I was one of those naturally skinny chicks too. ridiculous.

I agree...all these things they can figure out how to do and they cant figure out how to give us that skinny gene?

I love this post! I think about this like almost everyday..and I've been saying to myself since I was a kid I wish I could eat whatever I wanted and stayed skinny....for me it's like kill yourself trying!! Glad to know others feel the same!

I can't read your posts during the day. I laugh out loud! I did a Sprint around Wal-Mart this evening. That justified the ice cream sandwhich that I ate on the way home, right?

I fully support the cloning of the skinny gene!

My fat boot isn't outrunning any zombies anytime soon, I'll tell ya that. Somehow all the pregnancy weight I've gained {which is a LOT, btw} has gone straight to the backside. Why, Lord, why?

You are a funny lady Ms. JennyKate!!! I love the idea of assigning foods to workouts. Brilliant I tell ya! I'd also be all over that whole Skinny Gene research, well that is if I had the money to be.

I used to be thin. I could eat anything & everything I wanted. I did actually eat EVERYTHING, man I can eat! Then I hit about 24 & my matabalism changed & now I'm screwed! Grrrr.....

I LOVE ZOMBIELAND!

Well, I love anything to do with zombies (don't ask!), but Zombieland is so awesome!

I think I'm going to have to steal your food assignment idea; I love food and have a hard time giving some of my favorites up completely, lol.

I LOVE your thoughts!

We should definitely make and wear those skinny genes t-shirts!

No THOSE are the type of skinny genes I could get on board with!
