And So She Vlogs

The lovely and talented Shawn from Seriously and Mamarazzi from Dandelion Wishes are hosting a new vlogging link up.

I was actually really excited about it when they first mentioned it.  THEN I realized how annoying my voice is, how I hate my facial expressions, the fact that I need to lose 100 pounds (I already knew that, but vlogging drove it home), and I'm not that good at vlogging.

I almost backed out.

This is horrible.

It's the worst kind of peer pressure.

I'm so weak.

I have succumbed.

So, here's my vlog(s).

(my iPhone hates me and won't let me download a video longer than 2 minutes so bare with me)

If you need to, you can treat me like a bad American Idol contestant and just look away...or cover your face with a pillow.  That's what I would do.

You've gotta watch the next one to find out...

Here's my "hidden talent".  I use that term loosely.

And FINALLY, my Show and Tell...

I'll pay you in Girl Scout cookies to continue to follow me after watching those.

I think you are just too cute! You have way more guts than I do to take on this whole vlogging thing. I did it for awhile with another blogger and it abour scarred me for life! LOL! Thanks for letting us in on your "little secret".;) Sorry to burst your bubble, but according to MY hubby...I am the "QUEEN OF EYEROLLS"!

You are too cute. And much braver than I am...I'd never do it because I'm a dork, I hate my voice and I look ridiculous on camera. :)

I love that you are good at the silent treatment (which would not work well for a vlog) and at eyerolls. You know what that means right? You're still in touch with your inner-teenager.

(Which might also explain the Tiger-Beat style secret blog...) hmm.

Also? I love your accent!

JK, you're a STAR! Love it.

You have a Twilight blog? My daughter would love that.

Girl. Serioulsy. SERIOUSLY!
I started laughing when you said "boobies" and then you started laughing and then it was like we were having coffee together.
I'm so glad you did a vlog, I was so curious to hear and see you! :)
I want your hair.

You are so funny! The "boobies" cracked me up! I love your hidden talent. I, personally, think it should be like an olympic sport or something. If you paired it with a really exasperated sigh, you could totally take the silver. I think I might could take bronze. :) Loooove your show and tell piece too! Love vintage magazine and advertising!!!!

MiMi said...

Sorry. I'm back. I had to see the boobies thing again. Still hilarious.

I love all your vlogs. At least you sound normal. I do not. I'll post my non-vlog vlog soon.

I love the eye rolling skills but what happened to the rap? That would have been all kinds of awesomeness! You got rappin' skills. Don't make me share with the people. I have some recorded. ;)

Sorry. LOL!

Eye rolling is a talent. I mean, not everyone can do it as coolly as you!

I love Twilight too! But not as much as you. That's ok.

Awesome. I'm still too nervous to do a vlog. Perhaps one day.

I'd like a Girl Scout cookie. I love those things.

Oh, I'm with IA. You so should have rapped. You must do that on a vlog coming near you soon. People will be uber impressed.

I love that you actually did 4 vlogs. You are just darling.

That poster is soooooo cool! I also really love that first video. Your nervousness is AWESOME! so real and endearing!

ok i just watched your videos.

marry me. i will even read Twilight.

yes, that means something.

thank you for sharing your eye rolling talent and NOT the silent treatment one.

J is super good at the eye roll too and she sighs really heavy like we are the most annoying people on the planet. it is awesome and makes us DIE laughing every time which kind of pisses her off so we laugh harder and she finally starts laughing too...eventually.

i love love love the poster. super love. mumbo jumbo is totally my decorating style.

so where are we on the getting married thing? wanna?

i will do all of the laundry and cooking and pay someone to do the rest.

how about now?

I would ahve been even worse at teh vlog thing--that's why I did not do one. I love the vintage poster you have, it's awesome!

Girl you and I would be fast friends....seriously I just think you are awesome...and giggly like me! And you say random things in elevators, which is just the funniest thing ever.

Oh and I love that poster...LOVE!

Love your hidden talent. I do a lot of eye rolling, but I don't know that I would call mine a "hidden" talent bc I often get caught doing it... I've been trying to quit bc I know it is not exactly professional to roll my eyes at things my co-workers say, but sometimes I just can't help it.

You are too cute! I don't think I could get the nerve up to do any vlogging. I hate how I sound! Love the poster!

Perfect eye rolling is definitely a talent! You look and sound great on camera. And that Ladies Home Journal will make great decor!

I love your talent! I think every.single.woman. is a PRO at eye rolling!!! So funny!

I loved hearing you! That sounds freakishly weird and creepy, but you know what I mean ... I hope!

I am thinking about doing a vlog soon! Eeek! So scary!

LOVE IT! Of course you have a Twilight blog. I've never visited but that doesn't surprise me at all. :) Are you excited about seeing Water For Elephants? I'm excited about seeing Rob in a different kind of role.

Love your hidden talent. I need some tips on the silent treatment. Jason always wears me down. He just doesn't get the silent treatment. Ha!

Love that poster! & how special is it that it was once your moms.

Xazmin said...

Hahaha! I love you. You are adorable...and before I read this post, when I was watching the video above with Isaiah, I was seriously thinking how much I love your voice (even though I know I've heard it before), I was just thinking how jealous I was that you had a good talking voice.

Anyway - I will follow you anywhere, but my son just looked over my shoulder at the end of your post and asked me to request Samoas.

You are just too cute for words. Hope to see more vlogs from you in the future. :-)
