My Week In Pictures - 04/24-04/30

Last Saturday, we went to the Rocket Races and Airshow.

The Stealth Bomber was our favorite.
Isaiah had a great time hangin' with his cousins.
Sunday, the boys and I headed down the lane at our Granny's house and played around with the camera.  They are so much fun.
Never a dull moment.
See what I'm talking about?!
I've been snapping pics of my Sunday School kiddos for Mother's Day gifts we've been working on.
Isn't she a doll?
What a little diva.  I love her so much.

Hope you guys have a great weekend!♥

People's Most Beautiful People

Yesterday, People Magazine announced their 2010 Most Beautiful People.
Among those listed was none other than Robert Pattinson...DUH!

Another beautiful person worth mentioning and sharing his beautiful face is Channing Tatum!  Have you seen Dear John?  Step Up?  If you haven't, I highly recommend you do!  ASAP!

Also in the issue is KStew!

Follow the link about to see the complete list.
Who is one of your favorite Most Beautiful People from 2010?

It has been a good news week in twi-land!

Robert Pattinson was spotted in Heathrow Airport this morning!

EEEEEEE...can you hear my squeals from where you at?

Kristen and Taylor were spoted in LAX!

All three seem to be headed to Vancouver for some reshoots on Eclipse.

Also, Bill Condon was announced as the director for Breaking Dawn!  YAY!  Let's get this show on the road!!  Christian Serratos (Angela) let it slip earlier this week that filming could begin as soon as October.  It won't be long!  Will Breaking Dawn be 1 or 2 movies?  That question is still unanswered.  Both Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Rosenberg have said that there is plenty of material for two movies, so we will see!  I personally would love two just draws it out a little longer.

I'm not ready for this Twilight ride to be over!

I'm not sure who took them origianally or I would give them cred.

Grab My Button!

JennyKate's Spot

I finally took a minute and figured out how to make a blog button.  It wasn't that hard.  Don't know what took me so long.  So, if you want to grab my button, that would be awesome!  If you've wanted to make yourself a blog button and haven't figured it out, email me and I'll help you...because I'm nice like that. =)

Friend Making Monday

Friend Making Mondays is hosted by Amber, who has a fabulous new blog design.  You definitely need to stop by her blog...and join in FMMs.  It's fun!  You won't be sorry.

This week's topic is...

List 5 things {aside from the obvious} that you love.

Sushi.  This is a new discovered love affair.  I always thought it would be fishy and disgusting.  Not true.  I love it.  I could eat it everyday.
Thunderstorms.  I am a true Okie.  I am a bad weather junkie.  We live in what has been dubbed "tornado alley" and it doesn't even freak me out.  I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not just itching for a tornado to reap havoc anytime soon.  I have seen the devastation first-hand.  However, I just can't help get a little giddy on a warm summer evening when there is a storm brewing.  Michael and I stand out in our front yard and we analyze.  It's good times.
I love Sam.  Sam loves ham.  If I was like 12, I would have a crush on Freddie...but since I am 12+20, I can't say that.  Last weekend, we had spaghetti tacos.
When Isaiah isn't in school.  I know.  I'm weird.  Most moms love when their kiddos are in school.  Don't get me wrong, I love school and education is close to my heart.  I just really love when Isaiah can be out of school and be with me.  I'm counting down the days until summer break!
Venti Iced Mochas from Starbucks with 1/2 the pumps of chocolate, skim milk, and no whip. This is my go-to drink during the warmer months.  LOVE love LOVE it!

What are 5 of your favorite things?

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010) HD Trailer 2 New

OME!! OME!!! OME!!!! It's here! The official trailer for Eclipse...

I don't know about you, but I have chills and goose-bumps...and chills...and I can't concentrate and I shouldn't have watched this at work!

What's your first reaction? Are you as pumped as I am for Eclipse?

Come on June 30th!!!

Just a few of my first reactions (after watching about a half a dozen times...I think I'll just keep it on replay for the rest of the day!)
*The wolves look amazing!
*The end fight with the newborns is kick-butt!
*The Volturi look FIERCE!  I love them!
*Jacob Black saying "As long as we get to kill some vampires" that line!
*Jasper and Alice together...holy smokes!

Thank you, Jesus!

Kate GOES home...FINALLY!

She will be welcomed by her 8 children, who she said "love to watch her on DWTS".
After all, she was doing it all for them.
Meanwhile, they were being cared for by their nanny.
All the while, she was wasting our viewing time on DWTS with her

and horrible dancing

Does she look possessed in that one?

Tony is one of the nicest professionals on DWTS and she got him to walk out on her.

I guess we know one thing she's good at...being a bitch which I won't say, because I don't talk like that.

Kate deserved to go home a long time ago, Buzz Aldrin was putting in more effort and hard work than she was...and I never saw him roll his eyes...not even once!

Who would you choose for a partner?  Hmmm?
I'm normally not a hater, but this chick works my nerves in the worst way.

Who is your favorite star left on DWTS?
Also, who do you predict will win this season...if your guess is right, there will be a PRIZE waiting for you at the end of the season!

Forbes (non) Ficitional Fifteen

Forbes Magazine named Dr. Carlisle Cullen as the wealthiest man in America.
In the Forbes (non)Fictional 15, The 307 year old vampire is listed number one (we already knew this) and worth 34.1 million.  He credits his millions to years of hard work, saving for centuries (literally), and smart plays in the stock market with the help of his "intuitive" daughter, Alice.

He's handsome, smart, immortal, AND rich!

I love YOU, Daddy Warbucks Dr. Cullen...adopt me please!

Bon Jovi Pics!

The Bon Jovi concert was AMAZING!! I had the best time and I didn't get arrested, so that was good. :) I also didn't get to make contact with Jon, but it was still a supa fun time. The meanies at the front door wouldn't let me take my good camera into the, I had to walk it four hundred blocks back to my car and settle for my measley Kodak...which ran out of battery power 30 minutes into the show...thank God for my iPhone. What would I have done without any pictures to document THE Bon Jovi concert? I probably would have just stole some of my friends pics and claimed them for my own borrowed some, but I'm sucha picture freak and I needed my own.

Here's a slideshow of the pictures that I took (not great quality, but the fun level makes up for it).

One more thing before you leave, I found a totally adorable Twilight blog called Trixie and Tess Tell All. They are new to the blogging scene and they're trying to build up some followers and blog traffic. We all know what that's like...been there, done that. They are hosting a giveaway right now and it includes some fabulous New Moon stuff (like a NM DVD, tshirt, and lots of other goodies). Go check it out! Pretty please! You can tell them I sent you. :) Here's the link to the giveaway (CLICK HERE) and here is a link to a couple of really cute and funny posts they have this week (CLICK HERE and HERE).

Hope you guys are having a great week!!♥

Did you ever?

Did you ever have a crush on this guy?
Be honest.

Well, I did.
I'm pretty sure it was around 1990-ish and he looked a little more like this...

And it was all thanks to a song that goes a little something like this...

I'll be there for you
These five words I swear to you
When you breathe I want to be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
Steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what a love can do
I'll be there for you

You're singing along now aren't you?  It'll be stuck in your head for the rest of the can thank me later. :)  I'll be at the Bon Jovi concert tonight.  If I get close enough for a kiss (oh please oh please oh please), I'll be sure to give him one for you too, k?  I already ran this one by Michael and he's seems to be ok with it...he was rambling something about how it'll never happen I have his full permission or something like that.  He also said that if I get arrested he's not coming to bail me out and he advised me to take an extra bra in case I get an urge to toss mine up on stage.  I pay way too much for these things to toss one up on stage I'm way more mature than that.  Although, I could write my phone number on it...

How big do you think his body guards will be?

Um, if you don't hear from me tomorrow, could you guys start taking up a collection for some bail money?

So, today's post is #307.  I had planned to do something grand when I hit the big 300 mark, but with my busy schedule as of late, I didn't get around to it.  I looked back through my blog and was reminiscing on how all of this came to was a nice trip down memory lane.  I originally started this blog because a few friends from Cafemom had transferred their daily rants over here to the blog world.  I touched a toe in the waters on May 29, 2008
My first blog post was short and be honest, it was a lame excuse for a first blog post.  I was a little nervous.  I had been to blogs that had tons of followers, people they did NOT know in real life, and they were reading everything they wrote.  It seemed like a violation of seemed CRAZY!  I wasn't sure what I wanted to write that I was willing to let the whole world (ok, not really because at the time I had NO followers) read.  So, fast forward to June, I was starting to get into the groove of this blog thing.  You just write whatever is in your head for the day.  I have lots of voices things in my head.  Surely I could come up with something interesting to talk about.  My first attempt at that was a blog I wrote about changes taking place in our family at that was important to me...something I needed to get off my chest, it felt good.  I liked this blog thing, kind of like an online journal or diary.  I could do this.  I had been writing in a diary or a journal for years, so it started to get a little easier...feeling a little more natural with each post.  I can't remember when I got my first follower, but I'm pretty sure it was one of my sweet endearing friends from Cafemom who took pity on me and clicked the little follow button out of compassion.  Thank you!  I had no idea how good that would feel to have followers and get comments.  I had no idea that sweet words from "virtual friends" would mean so much.  I had no idea that I would turn some of those virtual friends into REAL-LIFE-flesh-and-blood-honest-to-goodness-FRIENDS.  So cool.  I ♥ blogging.

I know today my blog is a lot different than it was in May of 2008.  I've found some new obsessions interests, taken some new journeys, made lots of new friends, I have more than 3 followers, and I talk about Twilight...a lot lots of random things.  I know I probably drive you guys crazy with my passion for certain things...*achem*...and people.  I know that sometimes you guys don't get me, but I'm totally cool with that.  I'm just glad you stick around.  I would love to meet each and everyone of you in person someday.  I've formed bonds with so many of you...over various common interests.  So, as a way of saying "thanks for reading my ramblings and putting up with my nonsense", I would like to do a fun giveaway...not Twilight related...I know...SHOCKER!  (Ok, perhaps if the person who wins the giveaway is a Twilight fan I could throw in a little somethin' somethin'.)  The giveaway is just going to be a collection of some of my favorite pampering items, since most of my readers are girls, I figured you guys would enjoy them as well!

Here's how to enter:
  • Leave a comment - this is good for one entry.
  • Become a follower - this is good for one entry. (If you're already a follower, you'll get two extra entries.)
  • Re-post about the giveaway on your blog - this is good for two entries.
  • Re-post about the giveaway on Facebook or Twitter - this is good for one entry.
The giveaway will end on April 13th at noon.  I will use the Random Number Generator to select the winner and post it the next day!  Stop by tomorrow and I'll have a picture of all the things included in the giveaway.

Hope you're all having a great day!♥

Friend Makin' Monday - Easter Edition

Amber at {aefilkins} wants us to tell about our favorite part of Easter for this weeks FMMs.

Well, my favorite part of Easter was...ALL of IT!  We had the best day.

I had lots of fun stuff planned for my kiddos at church.  We talked about Jesus' crucifixtion, death, and resurrection while we made Resurrection Cookies...each ingredient represents a part of the Easter story.  It was very effective.  Then we had an indoor Easter Egg Hunt.  The kids loved it.  They each had to find the eggs with their name on it.
After church, we had lunch and an Easter Egg Hunt at my Granny's.  I love my family.  There is always good food, good conversation, good music, and fun times.
Hope everyone had a HAPPY EASTER!

John 3:16 "For God so LOVED the world that he gave His ONE and ONLY Son.  That whosoever believes in HIM shall NOT perish, but have EVERYLASTING LIFE!"  My Redeemer Lives!
