Well, for me, the answer is not always the same. The truth is that I fit blogging in whenever, wherever, and however I can. Sometimes that means that I wake up uber early during the week and scramble to put up a post before work. Sometimes I have to wait until I get a break at the office, like on my lunch hour. Sometimes I pour on the heat over the weekend and crank out as many posts as I can, save them as drafts and then post them when needed through the week. It always depends on my schedule. When it comes to commenting, I cram it in whenever possible. I read a lot of my blogs through Google Reader, so I will often read through the blogs and then later I will log on to each blog and leave a comment. I'll also catch up on my blog reading from my phone, but I hardly EVER post a comment from there. I just can't do it. It drives me batty. I like to have a spell checker and I want to know that what I say makes sense.
If someone invents an easier way to leave comments, I would vote for them for President. For reals.
Question: Do you have an e-mail account set up for your blog?
If you just answered "no", shame on you!! Everyone should have an e-mail account linked up to their blog!
A lot of times, if I can't get around to everyone's blog, I like to at least respond back to their comment through an e-mail. I want people to know that I read what they wrote and that it meant a lot to me that they took the time out of their day to stop by and read my post or just say "hi"! So, if you don't have an e-mail account linked up, DO IT!
What are your blogging methods?
How do you manage your blog?

I started using Bloglines years ago but Google Reader blows the doors off Bloglines. :) Love the Google Reader and I try to encourage people to use it because it's so easy.
I try to post when something strikes me, but sometimes life gets away from me. I start posts and save them only to come back and finish or delete them depending on my mood. :) Fickle? Me? :) I think it all depends on your writing personality. What's good for you is good for your blog.
I'm like you...I fit it in when I can, usually at work or late in the evening. Rarely do I blog on the weekend unless I'm home alone or I have some down time. I love being able to respond to people via email and love it when someone has her email linked.
Blogging is a total time suck for me! I love every aspect of blogging but I hate that I literally loose hours in front of the computer. I wish I had a solution, if you find one please share!
Yeah just kind of fit it in when can -Although since I'm a SAHM -I do generally try to fit it in in the mornings after the kids are in school or later at night. I have recently discovered how to write/save a draft and actually have it scheduled to auto publish -yay! I keep hearing about having the e-mail linked up but,not sure how or if can switch to a different email address ??
I am like you I try to read blogs and post when I have some free time during the day
Carrie
Same here. I just try to fit it in whenever. A few free moments? Maybe I'll try to make it around to a couple of blogs to comment. And usually my posts get written on the days that Jeremy is at work. I guess because when he is home, we are extra busy {especially right now with the house}. And YES, I completely agree. Please, for the love of pete, sign up your email! There are so many people I want to respond to, and I'll write up a lengthy email, and glance up, and whatdoyaknow, noreplycomment. Ack!
Oh, I just do it off and on during the day.
I hate when people have no reply...HATE IT!

CHeck out my giveaways when you come by! EVerything is handmade and gorgeous!
I always whip up The Talk of Tinseltown at the last minute on Sunday. My other posts are usually scheduled in advance. I like to have a week's posts scheduled in advance if possible. I write down ideas on sticky notes, note pads and save drafts in GMail. I get ideas from tv, from day to day life and from other blogs I read. Sometimes I blog post on a whim. As far as comments go, I tend to catch up once or twice a week now that I'm back working. I comment if I have something to say. I don't feel as guilty about it as I once did.
I totally agree about the email address. And, I always have 3 or 4 posts in draft, then I schedule them once complete. Gotta get it done!
You gave me a shout-out? I lub you bunches for that. I makes me feel very Hollywood. =)
You are simply amazing! You are one of the busiest people I know and you still make time to manage blogging (which is super time consuming), twittering (which still confuses the HELL out of me), and facebooking (which I have almost given up on because I have no more time AND I STAY AT HOME!)
It's sad really. But I feel at home in the blogging world.
I didn't know I was logged in to the RHOK. So, I've been commenting away on everyone's blog and just now caught it. Ha. What.a.day.
you got a new look right? i didn't just imagine that? either way i like it.
i'm an off the cuff blogger - word vomit. that's why so many posts suck because I forget that funny thing I was going to say. and I try to comment on every post of every blog I follow but good god that's exhausting. and answering emails and i'm already tired.
I also refuse to comment from my phone.
Yes! They should have email accounts for their blogs!! I like being able to email a response back to a comment.
I'm soooooo far behind lately.
I have two blogs and I post twice a week on each of them ... 4 times a week and that's enough for me. I just don't have time to do it everyday
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I am following you back from the blog hop.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Elizabeth
I try to read a few blogs during the week before & after work. We are not allowed to read blogs at work. I do most of my catch up and blogging on my days off. I agree about the email. It's easier if you want to respond to someone's comment.
