Diary of a Tree - 10/06/10

There is a tree outside my window.
I watch it everyday.
I watch the leaves turn from green to red and orange.
I know fall is here when the tip top leaves begin to change.
It tells me a story.
It lets me know when the season is changing.

Do you have a tree that you watch as the seasons change?
What color are it's leaves today?

Hope everyone is having a great week!♥
Don't forget to enter in my giveaway (go to last Friday's post)!!

Love this post!
Yes, I have a tree, actually lots of trees and great big ferns in a greenbelt behind my home. They are home to all sorts of animals and birds (even little hummingbirds.)

Right now they are green with a hint of fall yellow on their leaves-It won't be long till they are solid yellow though.
:)

What a beautiful post!
I used to watch a tree outside the window of my office...it would turn flaming red. When you'd catch a glimpse of it out of the corner of your eye...you'd think it was on fire for a split second.

Me and *Alex* went letterboxing yesterday and the park we went to is near the mountains and the leaves were very yellow.

It was beautiful!

I'm in Southern Calif. We chop down our pretty trees and put up strip malls.

We have a sweet dogwood that is just starting to get some red. I'm loving it!

We have an oak in our front yard -- I think three leaves have started turning red. Dominic keeps asking when the chlorophyll is finally going to leave so we can have red leaves again. :-) Guess who is learning about leaves in science class?

We watch all of our Japanese Maples turn all kinds of beautiful colors. Unfortunately they aren't so pretty here this year. Our weather was so weird this year!

How's your house coming? You haven't mentioned it lately.
