McLinky Monday - Who Are You?

The RHOK

Today, on The RHOK, Mrs. Edwards (that's me...hehe) wants to know...who are you?

We're talking in blogger terms...who are you as a blogger?  What do you write about?  What do people like to read on your blog?

What are the top 10 keywords that bring people to your blog?
Here on JennyKate's Spot, the top 10 searched keywords are:
  1. nutrisystem sucks
  2. eclipse printables
  3. eclipse party games
  4. phineas and ferb birthday party
  5. swanky stitch
  6. twilight tattoos
  7. phineas and ferb birthday
  8. csn giveaway
  9. twilight tattoo
  10. brat pack
It's fun to know how people end up on our blog.  Sometimes, it lets us know what people want to read about.  Apparently, lots of people come to my blog looking for Eclipse party stuff, Phineas and Ferb party stuff...and pictures of Twilight tattoos.  My number one searched word is "nutrisystem sucks"...all because of one little post I did about how much I was hating Nutrisystem at the time.  {click "nutrisystem" if you want to read it} Funny.  I had no idea that many people would be googling "nutrisystem sucks".  You just never know what people will be interested to read! (Side note:  I still hate Nutrisystem.)

Also, I asked myself...what is your most viewed post?
Thanks to my Twilight tattoo, my most viewed post is Weekend Recap and Tattoo Pic (circa June 9th, 2009)

Four of my top ten most viewed posts are Twilight related.  Two are party planning posts and three of them are giveaway posts.

Gives you a good idea of what people are wanting to read.

What are you top ten searched key words?  What's your most viewed post??   Tell us about it!  Link up with The RHOK!

Hope you guys have a great Monday!

McLinky Monday - Valentine's Day

The RHOK

Today at The RHOK, Mrs. Bundy wants to know how we celebrate Valentine's Day...

Well, Mrs. Bundy, I wish I had something really romantic and mushy and gushy to tell you, but I don't.

We are typically so UNexciting on Valentine's Day.  Usually a movie and dinner is the extent of our celebrations (outside of the bedroom) <------ Did I just say that?  On the blog?

I do remember our first Valentine's Day together.  It was probably our most cheesy romantic.  It was mid-90's.  I was still rockin' the somewhat poofy bangs.  I borrowed a knee length red dress from my college suite mate...and some red high-heels to match.  She was a sorority girl and never lacked for party attire.  Michael wore a suit jacket and slacks.  I remember that he came up to my dorm to pick me up, flowers in hand...AND in his 25th Anniversary Camaro.
Hot guy, cool car.
Who doesn't swoon over that?
I think we went to a banquet or something...we probably made out.

How much more awkward could I be?  Maybe I was nervous...yeah, we'll go with that.  Also, I'm making a mental note to never, under any circumstances, wear a dress like that again...it does nothing for a chubby girl.

This year, Michael is sick.  My Granny has been in the hospital.  Our house is in the middle of being finished.  Valentine's Day will not be a grand production.

OH yeah, BUT we do have a Valentine's Day tree...
That makes up for the lack of celebration this year, right?
How do you celebrate Valentine's Day?

If you want, stop by The RHOK and link up with us today!

Happy Valentine's Day!

McLinky Monday - 5 Pet Peeves

The RHOK

Pet Peeves.  Today on The RHOK, my Lovie and IRL friend...The Captain's girlfriend, Mrs. Coco wants us to tell her about our top 5 pet peeves.

What grinds my gears?
  1. People with bad grammar.  I'm talking about people who use TO and TOO interchangeably.  Those are usually the same people who use YOUR and YOU'RE interchangeably, as well as THEY'RE, THERE, and THEIR.  These words do not mean the same thing, mmkay?
  2. People who INSIST on driving SLOW in the FAST lane.  I drive like a Cullen, people!  MOVE OVER!!!
  3. Double Dippers.  I feel especially peeved about the ones who think it's not big deal, even if you mention how disgusting you think it is.  Get your nasty-already-bitten-off-of-tortilla-chip outta my salsa!
  4. Debbie Downers.  You know the ones.  Everything is always a disaster or drama.  Their life is always in a constant state of catastrophe.  So exhausting.
  5. Internet connections that move at the speed of snail mail.  DRIVES. ME. CRAZY.  Which means I've been drive to crazy a million times over in the last week.  Thank you, Windstream and Snopocolypse 2011.  You've been awesome.  Don't expect a Christmas Card.
I also have a love-hate relationship with this...

Happy Monday...hope it's not manic.  Perhaps it will be MAH-velous?!  Hmmmm?!

Hop over to The RHOK and tell us what grinds your gears.

McLinky Monday – 5 Things I Can No Longer Do

    The RHOK

Well, I like to think that I can do anything I put my mind to, but truth is I’m not as young as I once was.
I’m not sure if there is anything that I just absolutely CAN NOT do, but I probably don’t do them as well as I used to...and shouldn't.

(That’s the understatement of the century.)

I definitely can NOT cheer, jump, kick, tumble, or do stunts like I used to.

I did, however, recently pull off of a stunt while volunteering at the school for PTA.

(excuse the bad photography...we were only equipped with an iPhone)

That’s what us PTAers do in our down time. We relive our old cheerleading days.

I can’t jump on the trampoline for very long. I’ll pee my pants.

Speaking of peeing my pants, I can NOT hold my bladder. I WILL pee my pants. It’s happened.

I can NOT depend on coffee to keep me awake. I think I’ve built up an immunity to it’s effects.

I can NOT just dye my hair just for the sake of a color change…it’s a necessity. I have grey hairs, y'all.

All this talk makes me think of that Toby Keith song…I ain’t as good as I once was, but I’m as good once as I ever was.

What are 5 things you can no longer do?

Stop by The RHOK and join in our linky!

McLinky Monday - New Years Traditions

    The RHOK

Today on The RHOK, Mrs. Priss wants to know how we spend our New Years Eve...
how we ring in the New Year...
    She asked,
Do you stay up until midnight?

Do you get together with friends?

Do you have any New Year's Eve or New Year's Day traditions?

Did you make a list of resolutions?

    Did you eat black-eyed peas?

Well, Mrs. Priss, let me tell you, we are Party Animals...witha capital "P" and "A".

If you consider staying at home playing a mean game of Guess Who being a Party Animal,

or watching Ryan Seacrest and NKOTB on television being a Party Animal,
OR seeing the ball drop in Time Square from the comfort of your couch being a Party Animal,

OR toasting with Sparkling White Grape Juice (OK, and maybe a little champagne for those of us who are over 6) in fancy glasses being a Party Animal...

OR popping poppers out your front door and blowing horns and wearing shiny hats and yelling HAPPY NEW YEAR over and over and over being a Party Animal...

    then, yeah we're Party A-N-I-M-A-L-S.

We also eat LOTS of black eyed peas.  I just ate some that were left over for lunch today.  We also make resolutions and talk about new goals for the new year.

I think it's a consensus around our house this year...#1 resolution...FINISH THE HOUSE!

I also have the revolving resolutions, you know the ones that are there EVERY year...lose weight, be healthier, save money...blah, blah, blah.

Here's to more happiness, opportunities, open windows, good cups of coffee, great books, ingenious ideas, witty inventions, health and prosperity.

Hope 2011 is your best year yet!

So, how do you ring in the New Year?

Stop by and let us know at The RHOK!

McLinky Monday - Favorite Christmas Tree Ornament

    The RHOK

Today, Mrs. Bundy wants us to share one or some of our favorite Christmas tree ornaments.

Usually my answer would be snowmen, snowmen, snowmen...I LOVE my snowmen ornaments.

However, all of my adorable snowmen are in storage.  Boo.  My favorite OU Snowman, usually adorns the front of my tree, and I must say that I really miss him.  I don't have ONE snowman on my Christmas tree this year...not one!  It's kind of weird.  I may have to go out and buy one yet.

So, this year I am really loving this ornament from Starbucks.  I always buy one.

Last year it was the new reusable clear cup ornament.  I also have the traditional green and white Starbucks cup, along with a couple other versions.  I can't wait until next year, when they're all back together.
Isn't it cute?  Makes me happy.

What is your favorite ornament or ornaments?
Do you collect something specific, or is it something your kiddos made...or a treasured gift?

Go check out more favorite ornament posts over at The RHOK!

McLinky Monday - Favorite Christmas Dish

    The RHOK

Today for McLinky Monday, Mrs. Coco wants to know -

What's your favorite Christmas dinner dish recipe?

Christmas Eve at our house is not your traditional Christmas feast.

We eat the turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, etc. at Thanksgiving.  So, by Christmas, we all need a little something different.

From the looks of our dinner table, you would think we're originally from south of the border.

We have Mexican/Spanish everything...Spanish rice, fajita bowls, Mexican flats, Enchiladas, Enchilada casserole, beans, re fried beans, and our family specialty, Chili Verdes.

The Barney's are kind of known for their Chili Verdes and Chocolate Gravy, but I'll save the chocolate gravy for another post.  Here is the recipe for Chili Verdes...

    The Ingredients:
    • round steak
    • salsa verde
    • green chilies
    • tomato sauce
    • salsa
    • garlic
    • flour
    • oil
    • salt and pepper (to taste)

    The Process:
(remember my Granny does not cook by recipes...pinch of this, dash of that)
    • cut round steak into bite size pieces, toss in flour and salt and pepper
    • put a little oil in a skillet and brown round steak w/ a tablespoon of minced garlic
    • here's where it gets tricky...the sauce is really up to you...how spicy you want it, how MUCH sauce you want, etc
    • put your browned round steak in a large stock pot and start adding your remaining ingredients...to taste.  If you have one pound of round steak, I would start out with a can/small jar of salsa verde, a can of green chilies, small can of tomato sauce, and however much regular salsa you want...to the consistency you want.
    • let simmer for AT LEAST 1 hour...the longer the better.
    • serve in warm tortillas
    • you can add cheese, sour cream, more salsa, etc.
    • roll up like a burrito and enjoy!
I wish I had some pictures.
I'll remember to take some in a couple of weeks at our Christmas Eve and I'll share them.

Instead, here are a few pics from the weekend.

Isaiah FINALLY got to start opening his 12 Days of Christmas gift!

Last night we had our RHOK Christmas Party and fun was had by all...it was PJs, Pigtails, and Cocktails.

Stop by The RHOK for more Christmas Dishes and join in, if you have a favorite dish to share!

McLinky Monday - Favorite Christmas Cookie Recipes

    The RHOK

Mrs. Sinclair over at The RHOK wants us to share our favorite Holiday Cookies and the recipes, of course!

I've been in the baking mood, but I've yet to bake.  I've bought ingredients, but I haven't put them to use yet.  I've also bought some adorable boxes to put my goodies in, but they're still empty.  I plan on doing that this week...or maybe over the weekend.  I have to allot a whole day to nothing but baking.  I usually make some chocolate dipped pretzels, and a really yummy candy bar fudge along with some of my favorite cookies recipes.

    You know, something like this...

Ala Cher from Clueless.  Plop a whole roll of cookie dough on a baking sheet and toss it in the oven.

    I kid.

My FAV holiday cookies are simple.  I usually gravitate toward the shortbread and butter cookies.  I just love them and they go GREAT with a cup of coffee.

Here are my best cookie recipes:
    Pecan Shortbread Recipe:
    (Source:  http://www.foodnetwork.com/ )

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 pound unsalted butter, room temperature
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • 1 teaspoon pure almond extract
    • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 1/2 cups small diced pecans
    Directions

Cook's Note: This recipe can easily be doubled, as what was shown in the episode.
    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    • In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, mix together the butter and sugar until they are just combined. Add the vanilla and almond extracts. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour and salt, then add them to the butter/sugar mixture. Add the pecans and mix on low speed until the dough starts to come together. Dump onto a surface dusted with flour and shape into a flat disk. Wrap in plastic and chill for 30 minutes.
    • Roll the dough 1/2-inch thick and cut into 2 1/2-inch squares with a plain or fluted cutter (or cut into any shape you like). Place the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet.
    • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the edges begin to brown. Allow to cool to room temperature and serve.
    Almond Butter Cookies
    (Source:  http://www.gooseberrypatch.com/ )

Do you buy Gooseberry Patch cookbooks?  If you don't, you should.  They are FANTASTIC!!  I'll be having a giveaway for one later this week, so stay tuned!

    OK, back to the recipe...
    Ingredients
    • 1 c. butter
    • 3/4 c. sugar
    • 1 t. almond extract
    • 2 c. all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 t. baking powder
    • 1/4 t. salt
    Directions
    • Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl and heat about 10 seconds, until very soft but not melted. Stir together butter, sugar and extract. Add dry ingredients; mix well. If dough seems too dry, add another tablespoon or so of butter. Form into one-inch balls; place on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten to 1/4-inch thickness with the bottom of a glass jar. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes. Let cool. Drizzle Chocolate Glaze over cookies; let stand until glaze sets. Makes 5-1/2 to 6 dozen.
    Chocolate Glaze:
    • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    • 2 t. shortening
In a small saucepan, stir ingredients over very low heat until melted and smooth.

What are your favorite holiday cookies?

    Out To The RHOK

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

    McLinky Monday - Black Friday

Today at The RHOK, Mrs. Albright wants to know about our agenda for Black Friday.  Do you go...or is it your worst form of torture?  She also asked us to post our tips and tricks.

Ok, so here's the DL on BF.

Yes, I go.  It's one of my deep rooted Thanksgiving traditions.  Courtesy of my momma.  She gave me my shopping gene.  When I was little my Granny and aunts would set out on an all day shopping venture, I remember wanting to go so badly.  I've always been a shopper.  My Granny says when I was little they would give me $5 and I would come home with a whole bag full of stuff.

We have this Black Friday thing down to a fine science.  The day of Thanksgiving, we send one of the guys to the gas station for newspapers...lots and lots of newspapers.  We have to have plenty to go around.  First, we just all go for it.  Dividing and conquering the sales ads.  Then, we get strategic.  We start sorting out the stores, the items we're all looking for and making piles.  After that, we compile a master list.  We decide where we'll start first and what is most important.  We also list any extra coupons that we might have that would sweeten any of the doorbuster deals.

Usually, our day starts at our hometown Wal-Mart.  It's easy to maneuver.  There aren't nearly the number of people there compared to the stores in Tulsa.  We start there about 3:30 in the morning.  You've gotta be early to get these worms.  After we wait for our items in Wal-Mart, we go ahead and make a drop-off...clear out the vehicle for the purchases we plan on making in Tulsa.

The first stop in T-Town is Starbucks.  It's a given.  By this time we all need it.  Usually we've had coffee, but no breakfast and definitely not Starbucks.  This will be our first stop of many during the day.

After our stop at the Bux, we venture off to the next store, usually Target or Khol's depending on what is in the sales ad and how early you have to be there to get the items.

We always stop sometime for a nice lunch and we've been known to even eat dinner before we finally make it back to Wagoner, where we have also been known to hit Wal-Mart one more time before making it home.  There have been years when we don't finish up until wee hours of Saturday morning.

We're power shoppers.  Black Friday is like our Super Bowl.

One of my favorite tools for Black Friday is my nifty app.  TGI Black Friday.  It's a great app w/ lists of all the stores and their sales ads.  You can even make a list on there.  I love lists!

You can also visit BlackFriday2010.com for all the latest sales ads.  They will send you email alerts and updates.

This year there will be 9 of us going.  My cousins, Lindsay and Kristen will be home for the annual event for the first time in a few years!  I can't wait!!

What are your Black Friday traditions?  Or are you more of a Cyber Monday person?  Or do you hate the whole idea all together?

McLinky Monday - What Am I Thankful For

Today, on The RHOK, Mrs. Hart wants to know what we're thankful for.  I have addressed this topic quite a bit in the last couple of weeks.  I've been linking up occasionally when I can to Seriously, Shawn.  Sorry, I haven't linked up more Shawn!  I was going to use a previous post.  It was such a long weekend and I'm uber tired, but I started thinking that I have so much to be thankful for and surely I can come up with at least ONE MORE POST.  Of course, I am always thankful for my Trifecta...God, Family, and Friends.  So, here's my list of things I'm thankful for this morning...totes off-the-cuff:

I'm thankful for the AH-mazing weekend I just experienced.
I'm thankful for my AH-mazing husband who lets me do my "thang", even when he doesn't get it.

I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with my cousin Kristen.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to "pick-up" a few toiletry items whilst away...and by "pick-up" I mean steal.  I committed a crime for toiletries, people.  I wonder if the cleaning lady knew that it was us who stole 8 bottles of lotion and 4 bottles of shampoo off of her cart.  I'm sure she had to have noticed that they were missing and I'm pretty sure that is what she was telling the guy who was with her when we passed her on the way to the elevator.  I'm not fluent in Spanish, so I'm just taking a guess here, but I think she was saying "That's them.  Those are the girls who stole all of the lotion off of my cart."  I hope I don't get banned from the Westin.  I do love to stay there.

I'm thankful for the nice man at the desk who informed me that you can purchase the Westin toiletries on-line...listed under their "Heavenly Products".  (Funny that they are named "heavenly", because I'm pretty sure my actions were NOT "heavenly".)  Good to know.  I will not need to commit grand theft any longer.  I'll be able to acquire my toiletries in an honest fashion.

I'm thankful for my ability to not get star-struck.  While having dinner with Peter Facinelli, he spent 5 or 10 minutes at our table and I was able to just chat with him like we were old friends...and I remembered my own name.  I did write it on my hand, just in case.

    I'm thankful for rest.

Hopefully I'll get to catch up on some soon.  I think Kristen and I squeezed in about 6 hours for the entire weekend.

What are you thankful for today?   Come over and visit the Real Housewives of OKlahoma and link up!  Remember, you don't have to be a housewife or from Oklahoma.  We do prefer that you're real, because if you weren't that would just be weird.

McLinky Monday - Thankful For Food

This Week's Question @The RHOK is:
What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving dinner?

Lord knows this is a good topic for me.  I love food.  I love Thanksgiving...and I especially love Thanksgiving food!

Our Thanksgiving takes place at my Granny's house.  If you read one of my posts from last week, you know that my Granny is the best cook EVAH!  She's better than the Pioneer Woman, for reals.  She deserves her own cooking show.  We've thought about compiling a collection of her recipes into a cookbook, but how do you do that with a person who cooks with a "little of this" and a "pinch of that"?  I guess Granny's recipes will have to just continue to be passed down and enjoyed by her family.  Lucky me!

So, since my Granny is such a stellar cook, she is in charge of all the important stuff like turkey, dressing, and gravy.  As a side note, we have DRESSING, not STUFFING.  It's a rule at the Barney house...no stuffing.  The side dishes are left up to the rest of us...well, some of us.  There are a couple of people and I won't mention any name *achem, V and mom* who aren't allowed to don't really cook side dishes.  My Aunt Bev makes the best broccoli and cheese casserole you have EVER tasted.  She also makes some amazing hot rolls.  Somebody makes mashed potatoes...there are a couple of people who are qualified to do that.  (We take this food making business serious.)  I like to believe that I am pretty good at making green bean casserole.  I've confessed my LOVE of green beans on the blog before.  I think that if you really love something, that kind of helps you to be good at it...so, I'm a good green-bean-casserole-maker!

Here's my recipe: (I prepare for a large family, so excuse the quantities.  You may need to cut everything in half)

    4 cans of green beans
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
    1 cup milk
1 large can of french fried onions
Worcestershire sauce (If you can say this correctly, I would like to give you some sort of award)
    black pepper

Combine green beans, soup, milk, worcestershire (to taste), black pepper (to taste), half of french friend onions and 1 cup of cheese.  Put ingredients into baking dish.  Bake for 20 minutes at 350.  Then top with remaining cup of cheese and french friend onions and bake for an additional 10 minutes (cheese should be bubbling/melty).

Sometimes I even substitute the cheddar flavored french fried onions.  It's delish!!

What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish?

    McLinky Monday - Worst Job

    The RHOK

The question of the day over at The RHOK is
What is the worst job you've ever had?

I've had my fair share of jobs.  I've taught kiddos, worked at Home Depot, been a receptionist, and filed my little heart away at the Bursar's Office at OU.

The job Michael always likes to bring up is when I was employed at the Beanie Baby Cart in the Sooner Fashion Mall.  It was my college days and we were newly married.  I just needed a job to have some extra money.  Michael would always call me his "junior bread winner".  I hated that.  He knew it.  So, he said it as often as he could.  The truth is that I didn't do any "bread winning".  I bought lots of Beanie Babies and sometimes wouldn't even have much of a check when it was pay day.  I loved those things.

The WORST job I ever had was not the Beanie Baby Cart.
    It was Roni's Pizza.
The actual job was pretty fun.  A lot of my friends worked there and we goofed off a lot.  I might have been locked in the "ice box" a time or two, but other than that it was mostly fun and games...with a little pizza making on the side.  We had great calzone and we got to eat for free!  Bonus!

However, my boss...let's call him Moe...because that was his name.
He was a tightwad cheapskate ...think "Mr. Krabs"...
    and he called me "Hennifer".
When he wanted my attention or was telling me to do something he would whistle...but he couldn't.  You know the kind of whistling little kids do when they don't know how?  Yeah, like that.  So, he would fake whistle and say "Hennifer".  DROVE ME ABSOLUTELY CRAZY.
I couldn't understand hardly anything he told me to do.
I just winged it most of the time.
Then he would yell at me for getting it wrong..."HENNIFER".
Crazy, I tell ya.  He drove me crazy.
I only worked there one summer, but it was enough for me.

    McLinky Monday - John Hughes

    The RHOK

    This week's question:
What is your favorite John Hughes film and why?

    JennyKate's question:
Who the heck is John Hughes?

Apparently, (according to Wikipedia) he's some uber famous filmmaker.

    Getta load of this line-up...

    Filmography

How do you choose a favorite from all of these?  Do you choose one of the Vacation movies?  What about Ferris Bueller's Day Off?  Pretty In Pink has to be at the top of the list.

    Tons of classic Brat Pack.

I think I'm going with The Breakfast Club.  I've watched this movie so many times.  I love all of the actors.  It's so funny and still has a deeper darker edge. I also really love the way that it portrays high school and all of the little clicks and groups.  The best part is when they realize how similar they all really are.  Fantastic movie.

    McLinky Monday - Career Day

The ladies over at the RHOK are discussing careers today.

    The topic is:
It's career night at your child's school. What does your child say about you as you read over his/her written report and as they introduce you to their class?

Simple.  I don't really even have to think about this much.  Isaiah spent a majority of the summer at work with me,  where he saw me in action every day.  Plus, I've heard him tell people what I do for a living and it usually goes a little something like this:

"Well, she has lots of papers.  She staples stuff and uses a whole punch.  There's also a copier and she makes lots of copies.  Most of the time she makes lots of noise while she types on her keyboard...really fast.  Sometimes she has to talk on the phone...she tells me to "shhhshhh" a lot while she's doing that.  When I grow up, I'm going to work where my mommy does and I'm going to be my Meemo's right-hand-man."

    McLinky Monday - Favorites

Today, at The RHOK, Mrs. Albright is asking us to play along and list our FAVORITES!  So, here it goes...

    Favorite Actor.
You all could probably fill in this blank, right?
Duh.  None other than Rob "who's yo daddy" Pattinson!  And NO, I don't just love him because he plays Edward, although that is a big plus in his favor, but I love him as an actor period.  He was phenomenal in Remember Me.  If you haven't watched that movie, you should!  I can't wait for his upcoming role as Jacob Jankowski in Water For Elephants.  The book was fabulous.

    Favorite Actress.
I know you THINK I'm going to say "Kristen Stewart", but your wrong.  Although I love her dearly, she is not my most favorite.  My MOST favorite actress is Sandra Bullock.
LOVE HER!  Name one of her movies and I'll tell you that it's one of my favorites...The Proposal, The Blind Side, Miss Congeniality...she's so fantastic.

    Favorite Movie.
Oh geez.  This could get embarrassing.

    Favorite Band.
Easy.  Consumed By Fire.  Hands down.

    Favorite Musical.
Going to see it for the THIRD time in November!!  It's THAT good!

    Favorite Novel.
    The Obvious.
    The Not-So Obvious.
I'm a HUGE Steph Meyer fan.  I love everything she has written and I can't wait for the next book...whatever it may be.  Midnight Sun would be awesome.  I just want to throw that out there, just in case Steph reads my blog or you have a direct line to her.

    Favorite Cuisine.
Pasta.  Just about anyway it comes.

    Favorite Wine.
    SO good.

    Favorite Store.

    My Mother Ship.

When they started putting the Bucks INSIDE the stores, they created a beautiful thing.  A match made in heaven.

    Favorite Vampire.
    No explanation needed.
Oh, but wait.  I'll give you an explanation.  He's my favorite because he's the coolest (pun intended), most chivalrous, kind-hearted, loving, devoted, loyal, and most beautiful vampire I've ever known.

    Favorite Prime Time TV Series.

I also can't get enough of those cool kids at Seattle Grace (Grey's Anatomy) and equally cool kids at Oceanside Wellness (Private Practice)!  Can't wait for them to be back on in just a couple of weeks!!

    Favorite Time Waster.
You're witnessing it in action.  Not that I consider blogging a waste of time, but it is my biggest distraction.  I love it.  I would do it 24/7, if I could figure out how to get paid for it!

On that note, I've gotta get off of here and back to work.  I think I just heard my boss yell at me!  YIKES!

Hope you guys have a great day!  Go check out more FAVORITEs over at The RHoK!
