Huntington Beach Mini Movie by the Fabulous Movie-Maker, Becca Darling

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  Two of my last three posts have been about Huntington Beach and how awesome it was.  Deal with it...'cause Honey Badger don't care.  "Toniiiiiiiiight...we ARE young!!!"

If you want to smile today, you should watch this.  It has that affect on people.

A ginormous THANK YOU to Becca @ The Texas Darlings for the video.  (She does this as a business, if you're interested.  They make great gifts!!)

Hope you're all having a super great week! XOXO

So, I'm Here. Now What Do I Do?

I'm consciously making an effort to blog.  I even made it around to visit a few people...left some comments, corresponded through email...I'm not back in Good Blogger status, but I'm a work-in-progress.

However, now that I'm here, I'm not sure what to say.

I told Skillz (Impulsive Addict to you) yesterday that I don't feel like my life is exciting...not very "blog worthy".

I remember a day when everything felt bloggable.  I would think to myself 3 or 4 times a day "ooooooo, I am SO blogging that" *valley girl JK* or "consider yourself blogged, fool" *gangsta JK*

I guess, if this is what I (we all) say it is...a journal of our lives, reflecting on daily activities, and bringing whatever we can to the proverbial "table"...then, I should just be able to sit down on any given day and spew out whatever is swimming around in my brain and call it a blog, right?

Right.

Soooooooo....yeah, I got nothin.

Suppose it might take a while to get back in the groove.

In the mean time, wanna see some iPhonography from the past 4 months.  It'll give you an idea of what I've been up to while I wasn't here.
Breaking Dawn Part 1 - Midnight showing with Jiff and Impulsive Addict!

I just might have solidified my spot as "Mom of The Year" if I had let those go out in the mail to 21 seven and eight year olds.  Dang it.  What was I thinking going with the store bought invites?

 *end of iPhonography*

Christmas 2011 at ma crib.
One of my favorite pictures that I took over the holidays.
A fun day in January just playing around town with my camera, and three of my favorite people...Hannah, Caleb and Isaiah.

In other news...

I'm addicted to Pinterest.  Find me.  We'll pin some crap.  It'll be fun.

I'm trying to lose my FA (that's Spanish for fat ass...say it...out loud..."effay"...sounds Spanish right?).  If you use the My Fitness Pal app, look me up...jennykate77.

"Curly hair, curly thoughts." <---read this in a book and thought it suits me.

Anybody Got a Swiffer? It's Dusty Up In Hur (Here).

*AHHHHHHHHHHH...Ahhhhh...CHOOOOOOOO*  Sorry, dust makes me sneeze.  Ok, and I'm possibly over-dramatic.

I have no idea what I'm doing here...maybe the peer pressure is getting to me, maybe I'm just feeling really rebellious today and feel like "sticking it to the man", maybe I stopped by and felt sad that I haven't been here in so long...IDK?

I've lost 3 followers in the last few months during my hiatus.  I TOTALLY don't blame them.  I mean, what the hellz are the other 359 of you doing still following my blog??  There is nothing to see here!

I decided to take a peak at my stats, because let's face it...none of us blog for "us".  That's such a lie to make ourselves feel better when no one comments on a post or no one stops by our blog.  Seriously, people.  You wouldn't keep talking incessantly if no one talked back to you or listened to anything you were saying.  But that's not the point I was making...I'm rambling. *ooooo, shiney penny* <---I have so many of those moments in a day. It's ridiculous.  So, back to what I was saying, I checked my stats, and to my complete and utter dismay, people have been here.  I haven't even been here.  It's kinda weird that even though I have abandoned my little space on the interwebs, other people still stop by.  It's nice.  Makes me think I should come back.  I mean, I do own this place.  It says so...right up there. *points to the top*

So, one of my old (and by that I mean the time we've know each other and not a reference to age) bloggy friends, Mimi @ Living in France, tagged me last week...hoping to bring me out of my Reclusive Blogger status.  I thought, "why not".

Here's dizzle ma nizzles:

  • You must post 11 random things about yourself. (I think I can manage this...everything about me is random.)
  • Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post.  (Not sure I have time for this...we'll see.)
  • Create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer.  (This isn't going to happen...deal.)
  • Go to their blog and tell them that you’ve tagged them.  (I can do this.)
  • Legitimately tag 11 people!! (Don't push your luck.)
11 Random Things About JK...hmmmm...
  1. I occasionally speak about myself in third person.
  2. I like to turn my hip-hop/rap music up so loud in my car that I feel the bass on my ass in my seat.
  3. I also perform every morning on my way to work.  You can catch me from 8:10 to 8:50 on HWY 51, but you'll have to break the law to keep up.  I drive like a Cullen.
  4. I'm an interactive TV watcher.  I like to talk to the people and yell at them...occasionally profanities.  What?  I'm a passionate person.  Drives M cray.
  5. I've discovered that while I'm restricting my calories (we don't mention the "d" word), I'm a bigger bitch than usual while Aunt Flo is visiting.
  6. I would have killed a mofo for some chocolate last week.
  7. I finally caved on day 3.
  8. Probably saved a few poor souls.
  9. I like to think of it as caving for the greater good.
  10. I know it was the right thing to do, because deep down, I didn't feel bad about it.
  11. I kinda just cheated, but whatevs.
Since I'm bloggin like a baws (boss) today, I might as well kill two birds with one stone and link up with my hookas Impulsive Addict and Seriously Shawn for their Talk to Us TuesdayNo rules, just fun!

The DL on JK's RL

Here's the deal pickle. My big boss decided that our accounting server needed to be merged with the main office server. Along with that comes a whole bunch of shiz that makes a sadz sadz JennyKate (yea, I'm referring to myself in the 3rd person...all the cool people do it). He also dropped the bomb that we could no longer store personal information on our work computers AND there would be a new program loaded to the server that would track the activities of each employee. Meaning, at any time during the day, he will be able to know if we're working in work related programs or surfing the Internet or looking at porn or tweeting or blogging...etc, etc. I swear I almost had a heart attack at the staff meeting.

From the first day that I ever blogged, I've always done so from work. I started my blog from work...it's my main place to blog from still today. We all know that I haven't been the world's best blogger anyway and now what the hellz am I supposed to do now??

Connie (from The Young and Relentless <---typing all of that because I have no clue how to link a blog from this thing) told me about the Blogger app for the iPhone, so that's what I'm attempting now. I have a personal computer, just not a lot of time at home to use it. So, we'll see how this goes. I'm going to post a picture just to play around with some of the functions. You'll probably get some wonky posts from me the first few times. AND you'll have to excuse any spelling and grammatical errors. I'm sure I'll make plenty typing from the iPhone. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Now, What Was I Going To Say?

I swear I was just thinking of something clever to post...and then I get here and I can't think of anything.  Shows how off my game I am.  I think I used to have something I regularly posted on Thursdays, but for the life of me I can not remember.

I knew if I waited too long to make another blog post, Connie would be cutting me from her A List.  I just can't let that happen.  I don't have many things going for me these days, so being on Connie's A List is verah important.
You guys probably talk about me when I'm not here, huh?  Am I ruining your fun by stopping in and posting?  You might need to confess that tomorrow, mmmkay?  It's not nice to talk about people.  You know where you go for that, right?  Coweta.  Just ask Becca.

So, let's just chat, shall we?  What have you been up to?  Me? Oh, I've just been workin' and redecorating my office.  The painters came and painted my office one day while I was out and they just piled all of my precious Twilight memorabilia in one heaping stack on my desk.  I went into a mild-to-moderate panic attack and had to grab my spare paper bag from under my desk.  So, I just got around to putting everything back in it's rightful spot this week.
Wanna see?

I know.  You're jealous.

The boss said she didn't want any "inappropriate posters" in plain view...so I got sneaky and put my Rob posters behind the door...and on the side of my filing cabinet.

Hope you guys are having a great week!!  *MUAH*

A Little Help From My Friends

I need a little help from my friends.

If you're now singing the theme song from Wonder Years, you can thank me later.  Who used to want to be just like Winnie Cooper?  Raise your hand.  Oh, and is it true that Paul is Marilyn Manson??  This inquiring mind wants to know.  According to Snopes.com, that's a NO.

Anyrandomness, back on topic.

I think at some point in every bloggers life, they evaluate themselves as bloggers and try to see where their at, where they want to go, and how they can be better.  (Yesterday's post was about evaluating readership.)

So, I've been there lately.  Wondering what's my niche?  What am I good at?  What do I want my blog to be?  How am I going to get it there?

I need to know a few things...which requires crowd participation.

1.  What is your favorite thing about my blog?
2.  What is the MOST annoying thing about my blog? (go ahead be honest.  i put my thick skin on this morning and I'm wearing my big girl panties.)
3.  Do you think I post too many pics and/or videos, just enough, or you'd like to see more?
4.  Does it drive you crazy when I use large or larger text?  What is easier to read?  How about colored text?  I had someone tell me before that red text is unappealing and hard to read.  Since, it's my favorite color, it creeps into my blog posts often.  So, I really want to know how everyone feels about it.
5.  If you could give me one piece of advice regarding blogging, what would it be?

You're all gems.  Thanks in advance for reading and responding.

Love and Rockets,
jennykate♥

McLinky Monday - Who Are You?

The RHOK

Today, on The RHOK, Mrs. Edwards (that's me...hehe) wants to know...who are you?

We're talking in blogger terms...who are you as a blogger?  What do you write about?  What do people like to read on your blog?

What are the top 10 keywords that bring people to your blog?
Here on JennyKate's Spot, the top 10 searched keywords are:
  1. nutrisystem sucks
  2. eclipse printables
  3. eclipse party games
  4. phineas and ferb birthday party
  5. swanky stitch
  6. twilight tattoos
  7. phineas and ferb birthday
  8. csn giveaway
  9. twilight tattoo
  10. brat pack
It's fun to know how people end up on our blog.  Sometimes, it lets us know what people want to read about.  Apparently, lots of people come to my blog looking for Eclipse party stuff, Phineas and Ferb party stuff...and pictures of Twilight tattoos.  My number one searched word is "nutrisystem sucks"...all because of one little post I did about how much I was hating Nutrisystem at the time.  {click "nutrisystem" if you want to read it} Funny.  I had no idea that many people would be googling "nutrisystem sucks".  You just never know what people will be interested to read! (Side note:  I still hate Nutrisystem.)

Also, I asked myself...what is your most viewed post?
Thanks to my Twilight tattoo, my most viewed post is Weekend Recap and Tattoo Pic (circa June 9th, 2009)

Four of my top ten most viewed posts are Twilight related.  Two are party planning posts and three of them are giveaway posts.

Gives you a good idea of what people are wanting to read.

What are you top ten searched key words?  What's your most viewed post??   Tell us about it!  Link up with The RHOK!

Hope you guys have a great Monday!

JennyKate's Thoughts on Blogging - Part Uno

Hi.  My name is JennyKate and I have some thoughts on blogging.

Wrote a song about it.  Wanna hear it?  Here it goes.

OK, not really, but I have been thinking of some things and I decided to get them down on the blog for posterity sake.

The first thing I'd like to talk about is originality.  It has come to my attention this week that Bloggers become very offended when they know/think/suspect that someone has stolen an original idea and I totes understand that.  I do.  Really.

The world of blogging is a funny place.  There are so many flippin' bloggers out there in the blogosphere.  It's ridiculous really.

I found this quote on The Blog Herald, "I don’t think the blogosphere is quite mature yet. Technorati currently states it is tracking over 112.8 million blogs, a number which obviously does not include all the 72.82 million Chinese blogs as counted by The China Internet Network Information Center. Blog statistics often concern the English language blogosphere but we should not forget about the millions of other blogs that are not always included in estimations." That was dated February 2008.  So, you can imagine how many blogs there are today.

Do you know how hard it is to be legitimately "original" when there are that many people doing the exact same thing you're doing.  I would say it's nearly impossible.  There is someone somewhere who has probably wrote about this exact thing.  I'm sure of it.

I like to compare the world of blogging to Planet Earth.  We humans, who occupy Planet Earth, often start thinking that we're the only living breathing creatures out there.  We tend to think that there can not be anybody like us...no where, no how.  Srsly?  This is a big freakin' place.  There are millions of planets, solar systems, galaxies, and universes.  To think that we're the only living breathing creatures is being close-minded...and pretty egocentric.

Same goes for blogging.  I think a lot of us get this mentality that we're a BIG fish in a little sea, when really it's just the opposite.  We're all (even you...you Celebrity Blogger) just little fish in a BIG FREAKIN OCEAN yo.

There are probably thousands of people who have had the same idea as you.

I always remind myself that there is someone who has said it better, wrote it more eloquently, been funnier, had more wit, and said it with more style than me.

We just have to be the best us we can be...and try not to step on anyone's toes while we're doing it.

But let me tell you, it's getting crowded up in here.

JennyKate and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day

Yep, you read that title right.  I'm having a terrible horrible no good very bad day.
  1. I woke up this morning with snot dried onto my face up to my eyeball...nice visual, eh?
  2. JK + MD = love...and I'm not talking about my hubby.  The new MD in my life is MucinexD.  It is my only relief from all this snot having a party in my sinuses.
  3. Belle got sprayed by a skunk this morning.
  4. There was NO hazelnut creamer at the gas station this morning for my coffee.  There are two offenses here.  One, no hazelnut creamer.  Two, gas station coffee.
  5. I am fashion faux pas from head-to-toe.  I'm wearing lounge pants to work w/ a hoodie sweater, and two layers of tank tops, just because I felt like it...and Toms w/ no socks.  It is so attractive.  Don't try to steal my style.  I'll know.
  6. I'm having a head-band-AND-ponytail kinda hair day.
  7. no makeup
  8. it's ugly
  9. you probably don't want to talk to me
  10. some people just popped into my office to see if they could meet with me real quick
  11. they probably regret that decision.
  12. I could go on, but it's depressing...
In other news, I posted over at The RHOK today.  Stop by and read my post, if you get a chance.

Blogging Methods

A few days ago...or maybe it was last week, my short term memory fails me often...Impulsive Addict and I were having a discussion about blogging.  She asked me how I manage my blog.  Basically, she wanted to know how do I post as often as I do, comment on other blogs, and respond back to people who comment here.

Well, for me, the answer is not always the same.  The truth is that I fit blogging in whenever, wherever, and however I can.  Sometimes that means that I wake up uber early during the week and scramble to put up a post before work.  Sometimes I have to wait until I get a break at the office, like on my lunch hour.  Sometimes I pour on the heat over the weekend and crank out as many posts as I can, save them as drafts and then post them when needed through the week.  It always depends on my schedule.

When it comes to commenting, I cram it in whenever possible.  I read a lot of my blogs through Google Reader, so I will often read through the blogs and then later I will log on to each blog and leave a comment.  I'll also catch up on my blog reading from my phone, but I hardly EVER post a comment from there.  I just can't do it.  It drives me batty.  I like to have a spell checker and I want to know that what I say makes sense.

If someone invents an easier way to leave comments, I would vote for them for President.  For reals.

Question:  Do you have an e-mail account set up for your blog?

If you just answered "no", shame on you!!  Everyone should have an e-mail account linked up to their blog!

A lot of times, if I can't get around to everyone's blog, I like to at least respond back to their comment through an e-mail.  I want people to know that I read what they wrote and that it meant a lot to me that they took the time out of their day to stop by and read my post or just say "hi"!  So, if you don't have an e-mail account linked up, DO IT!

What are your blogging methods?

How do you manage your blog?

High Maintenance

Are you high maintenance?  Am I high maintenance?

I was pondering this thought while in the shower the other morning.  Don't ask me why, but I do some of my best blogging in the shower.  I should look into a waterproof laptop or something, but then I might never get out...except for when the water turned cold.  Perhaps I need to look into a bigger hot water tank?  Isaiah is always looking for things to invent.  I'll let him know about this asap.

Back to the topic.  High maintenance.  Are you?  I think sometimes I am and sometimes I'm not.  On one hand, I love a mani/pedi and I pay someone to wax my eyebrows, but on the other hand, I color my hair out of a box and my aunt cuts my hair for free.  I love Coach purses, but feel totally comfortable wearing things from Target.  On most days, my purse probably costs more than my entire outfit...including my shoes.  I do drink Starbucks like no body's biznass and I make no apologies for it.

So, what makes someone high maintenance?

For this question, I went to Google, my trusty friend in times of need.  According to most of the articles I read, guys consider girls "high maintenance" when they always have to put make-up on and primp.

Well, this sealed the deal for me.  I just want all of you to know that I am officially LOW maintenance.  One thing I do not do is spend a lot of time applying make-up or primping.

My morning routine is:  wake up, lay in bed for 20 minutes checking Twitter/Facebook/Blogger, roll out, turn the coffee pot on, turn the laptop on, read a few more blogs, wake Isaiah up, make him breakfast, get him dressed, cue the cartoons, take a shower...and then in the 15 minutes I have left I dress, dry my hair, and MAYBE...on a good day, put on some powder, mascara, and lip gloss.  On a good day.

Keeping it real people...

this is what I look like today, sitting at my desk on my lunch hour...apparently, it wasn't a "good day".  It is the unPhotoshopped, unPicniked, and unedited version.  That's what you would get if you came here right now.

It's OK if we're not friends anymore.  I understand.

Disclaimer:  If you EVER see a picture on this blog and my skin looks flawless or my face looks *achem* thinner, you can bet the farm that I've used Photoshop or Picnik.  So, please know that if you ever meet me in person, I will not look like that.  You can do wonders with a good camera angle, favorable lighting, and a little airbrush and Insta-thin on Picnik.

So, are you high maintenance?  Low maintenance?  Somewhere in between?

Friday Confessions

  • First off, I am on TV overload!  You know how guys have their seasons...baseball, football, hockey, NASCAR, etc.  Well, THIS is my season.  I have a favorite show on almost every night of the week.  On Monday there is DWTS.  Tuesday is the elimination round for DWTS and Biggest Loser.  Wednesday Night is Modern Family and Cougar Town.  Thursday is HUGE.  There is Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice.
  • Also on Thursday night is Big Bang Theory.  BBT started out being Michael's show when it first premiered.  He thought it was hilarious and I thought it was stupid.  After a while the show started to grow on me, and I started having a nerd crush on Sheldon.  I love Sheldon.  I love Big Bang Theory.
  • Usually on Friday nights and Saturday morning, I catch up on all the shows from the week.  Sometimes I'll be up at 6:00 in the morning watching DWTS or Private Practice.
  • Next week, I'll be hosting a giveaway for an ADORABLE Posey Necklace from Too Silly Sisters on Etsy (owned by Lori from Morning Glories and Moonflowers).  If you don't know Lori, you should!  She is the sweetest and she is seriously talented!
  • I have a new design coming soon!! YAY!  Most of you know that I got impatient and impulsive and I just totally screwed up my blog last week.  Although, I finally got everything back into working order, I had a minor panic attack for a few hours last Friday.  It was scary, y'all!  Thankfully, The Design Girl is currently working on a layout for me!  I can't wait!

I hope you guys have a great weekend!!  *muah*

Versatile? Me?

A BIG thanks to Mommy Mayhem for passing on this little award to me!  I'm not sure how versatile of a blogger I am.  Random?  Yes.  Versatile?  I don't know about that.

The req's:

  • Reveal 7 truths about yourself
  • Pass it on to 7 blogging friends
Let me see if I can tell you guys some things you don't already know.

7 Truths

  1. I LOVE green beans.  I mean, LOVE them.
  2. I'm so impatient sometimes.  I really love instant gratification.
  3. I've been evaluating friendships lately.  Not that I don't want to be friends with anyone.  I just think some "friends" are better kept at a distance.  Know what I mean?  I find it hard to make that separation, but I'm trying.
  4. I can blush at the drop of a hat.  I'm sitting in the living room last night, watching DWTS, and Maks is on.  Y'all know Maks, right?!  All my husband does it look at me.  I mean just glanced my way and I turned all shades of red.  What is wrong with me?!
  5. On that note, I DO NOT have a poker face.  Lady Gaga was not talking about me.  You can totally read me just by seeing my facial expressions.
  6. I have a ridiculous fear of spiders.  Early Sunday morning as I was coming home from a Girl's Night Out, I was walking up to the front door, not really paying attention to anything, when all of a sudden I see a HUGE spider.  This is not one of my exaggerations, which I am known for.  It was real.  It was like a tarantula at my front door.  FREAKED. ME. OUT.  About that time the headlights on my car automatically turned off and I couldn't really see the eight-leg-spawn-of-satan any longer...because he was black and it was DARK.  So, I ran, I mean RAN, back to my car.  Jumped in.  Slammed the door.  Locked it.  I have no idea what for.  It's not like the spider was going to open the door or anything.  I turned on the light inside the car, you know to make sure there were no tarantulas in my car that I hadn't seen 15 seconds earlier when I was in my car.  I sat there and waited until my husband came and killed the massive-life-threatening-eight-leg-spawn-of-satan.  I would have slept in my car before I would have went past that spider to get in my house.
  7. I love Starbucks.  What?!  I couldn't think of anything else to say.
I know there have been tons of tagging and bloggy awards floating around, so I'm not going to tag anyone.  However, if anyone wants to snag this award and play along, feel free!  I think you are all wonderfully, versatile bloggers, and I would love to know more about each and every one of you!

Hope you're all having a TERRIFIC Tuesday!♥

Blog Design Help

So, here's the dealio.
I'm in need of a bloggy makeover here at JK's Spot.
I need some suggestions of blog design websites/blogs.
Any personal referrals?
I want a photo-type blog layout, because I love posting my pictures.
{Floating serenely for a while,
Suspended in the wind’s highway,

I’m in panoramic harmony with nature;

And my mind is led astray.}

~By Andrew Harley

I definitely want the wider format, with 2 columns.
I want it to have clean simple lines and a top navigation bar.
I don't want to spend a small fortune, but I'm willing to pay for quality.
I love so many of your blog layouts and designs, so I thought I would ask for your help!
Leave me any links, suggestions, and/or advice in the comments!
I really appreciate it!

McLinky Monday - Favorites

Today, at The RHOK, Mrs. Albright is asking us to play along and list our FAVORITES!  So, here it goes...

Favorite Actor.
You all could probably fill in this blank, right?
Duh.  None other than Rob "who's yo daddy" Pattinson!  And NO, I don't just love him because he plays Edward, although that is a big plus in his favor, but I love him as an actor period.  He was phenomenal in Remember Me.  If you haven't watched that movie, you should!  I can't wait for his upcoming role as Jacob Jankowski in Water For Elephants.  The book was fabulous.

Favorite Actress.
I know you THINK I'm going to say "Kristen Stewart", but your wrong.  Although I love her dearly, she is not my most favorite.  My MOST favorite actress is Sandra Bullock.
LOVE HER!  Name one of her movies and I'll tell you that it's one of my favorites...The Proposal, The Blind Side, Miss Congeniality...she's so fantastic.

Favorite Movie.
Oh geez.  This could get embarrassing.

Favorite Band.
Easy.  Consumed By Fire.  Hands down.

Favorite Musical.
Going to see it for the THIRD time in November!!  It's THAT good!

Favorite Novel.
The Obvious.
The Not-So Obvious.
I'm a HUGE Steph Meyer fan.  I love everything she has written and I can't wait for the next book...whatever it may be.  Midnight Sun would be awesome.  I just want to throw that out there, just in case Steph reads my blog or you have a direct line to her.

Favorite Cuisine.
Pasta.  Just about anyway it comes.

Favorite Wine.
SO good.

Favorite Store.

My Mother Ship.

When they started putting the Bucks INSIDE the stores, they created a beautiful thing.  A match made in heaven.

Favorite Vampire.
No explanation needed.
Oh, but wait.  I'll give you an explanation.  He's my favorite because he's the coolest (pun intended), most chivalrous, kind-hearted, loving, devoted, loyal, and most beautiful vampire I've ever known.

Favorite Prime Time TV Series.

I also can't get enough of those cool kids at Seattle Grace (Grey's Anatomy) and equally cool kids at Oceanside Wellness (Private Practice)!  Can't wait for them to be back on in just a couple of weeks!!

Favorite Time Waster.
You're witnessing it in action.  Not that I consider blogging a waste of time, but it is my biggest distraction.  I love it.  I would do it 24/7, if I could figure out how to get paid for it!

On that note, I've gotta get off of here and back to work.  I think I just heard my boss yell at me!  YIKES!

Hope you guys have a great day!  Go check out more FAVORITEs over at The RHoK!

8 Questions

Shawn from Seriously tagged me to answer the following 8 questions, tag 8 friends, and have them answer 8 new questions.

Thanks, Shawn!  This should be fun!

1. If you could go to one place, all expenses paid, where would you go?

Europe, but I wouldn't want to be held down to a specific locale.  I would just like to be able to go where the wind takes me...or train.  I've always wanted to visit my foreign exchange student from high school.  She's from Alsace, France.

That would be a good start!

2. Do you coupon? {I have friends that save a ton and I just can't figure it out} If you do what are your secrets?

I like coupons.  I like saving money.  But I'm not faithful to it.  I usually buy the paper and clip the coupons...and forget them when I go to the store.  I do love watching the 918 Coupon Queen on Channel 6 every morning.  Her savings fascinate me.

I have good intentions, but no follow through.

3. If you had one thing to do over what would it be and why?

I would have traveled more before I got married and had Isaiah.  It's so much harder to do when you have responsibilities and a family to care for.  I wouldn't change anything about my life, but I definitely would have taken advantage of more opportunities.

4. Are you an organized clean freak or a less than tidy "tomorrows another day, it can wait" kind of girl? What does your house look like right now?

OH my geez.  I wish she hadn't asked me this question.  The embarrassing truth is that at this very moment my house is a hot mess.  It's been a crazy month.  We went from vacation, to my Grandpa being really sick, to him passing and his funeral, to family galore, to back-to-school, and sports starting.  I have had ZERO time to clean and organize.  So, I'm usually a semi-organized-clean-freak-kinda-girl.  I say "semi", because I'm not nearly as clean freakish as I was prior to becoming a mom.  I realize now that it's OK for your house to appear lived in.  I prefer spotless and organized, but I'll accept pretty clean and picked-up.

No pics.  Sorry.  My house is only photographed when clean.

5. Toilet paper...Over or Under ? And, are you compulsive enough to change it somewhere else {I am}?

Over.  It's the only way and yes, I'll switch it, if given the chance.

6. You're talking to a group of people and someone has something in their teeth or their nose. Do you tell them, ignore it or excessively rub your tongue over your teeth or run your finger under your nose until they get the hint?

I'll politely and inconspicuously tell them.
"You've got something right there..."
I would want them to do the same!

7. You're out and about and you see a friends husband with another women. What do you do? Address him on the spot, call him the next day and give him an ultimatum or tell your friend?

Straight to the friend.  Especially if it's a close/best friend.  You better believe he's getting ratted out.  Again, I would expect the same in return.

8. What is the best piece of advice you've ever gotten? What was it and who gave it to you?
