A Whole Lotta Halloween

A week...a WHOLE flippin' week?!  Man, I'm failing on the blogging job.

In my defense, it has been a crazy busy past 7 days!

I planned/co-planned 3 Halloween parties, accompanied Isaiah's class on their field trip to the Aquarium, and Isaiah played his last football game of the season...and I have pictures to prove it!

Harvest Festival @ Legacy Family Church - Party #1

Halloween Bash @ The Farm
(aka my Mom & Dad's house) -
Party #2

Halloween Party @ The American Legion - Party #3
I don't know if I've ever told you guys before, but I'm the President of the American Legion Auxiliary that we belong to.  Around the Holidays, we throw parties for the children of the Veterans that belong to our Post and for the local community.  So, every year I plan the party w/ games and crafts and bunches of goodies.  It's a lot of fun!

1st Grade Field Trip to the Aquarium

The jellyfish and anemones are always my favorites!

Saturday was Isaiah's last football game.  They lost, but it was a great game and they played their little hearts out.

Here's a few of my favorite pics from the game.

How was your weekend?  Attend any parties?  Did you raid your kiddos Halloween bag check your kiddos candy for razor blades and needles?

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Weekend Review

I know it's a little late, but I've been "preoccupied" on my free time and haven't downloaded my pics from the weekend until today. So, here's my weekend review...

The weekend started off with some good 'ol trick-or-treating on Friday night. We went over to my mom and dad's. We just hung out, had dinner, and handed out candy...Isaiah's favorite part was handing out candy and he handed it out by the HAND FULLS! Those kids probably thought they hit the jackpot!

Waiting patiently for the next group of trick-or-treaters...

Stopping briefly for a photo-0p with mom...

He ain't afraid of no ghost!

My little Darth Vader..."Luuuuke, I ammmm yourrrr fatherrrr."

Back at Papa's to hand out some more candy.

On Saturday, we traveled to Norman for the OU/Nebraska game. If you know much about OU, you know that this used to be the biggest rivalry. Not so much anymore, but still feels nostalgic for those of us who remember. The game was pretty much a blow-out (62-28), but it was still a great game. Here's some pics...

These kinda got out of order, but here is a pic of pre-game w/ The Pride on the field and the huge Oklahoma flag...it's awesome!
This is a panoramic pic I took...isn't it cool?!

"O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A. Our chant rolls on and on. Thousands strong join heart and song in alma maters praise. Of campus beautiful by day and night. Of colors proudly gleaming red and white. 'Neath the western sky, OU's chant will never die. Live on University!"

We scored!

Campus Corner at night...one of my favorite spots.

Good times.

Pumpkin Decorating and Trick-or-Treating!

Pumpkin decorating and trick-or-treating...that's what Halloween is all about when you're four! Isaiah informed me that on Halloween night (he said this in his most spooky voice) after all the kids get their treats, they get their tricks! Now, in his four year old mind, I'm not sure what he thinks of as tricks. If any come up, I'll be sure to let y'all know. (Did I just throw a y'all in there...you did know I'm from Oklahoma, right? However, I normally try to type more proper than that...teeheehee...)

Here's Isaiah's Monster Pumpkin that he made! Scary, huh?

Here he was in his laboratory...or the kitchen table...but doesn't laboratory sound so much better. We also have a volcano upstairs with hot lava coming out of it. You're not supposed to step on the wood floors...unless you have the special shoes on that protect your feet from the burning hot lava =)

This is a pic of Isaiah and a few of his good friends from school while they were down town trick-or-treating...well, just treats, no tricks.

Here's one more...that robot costume cracks me up...if you push this little button on the bottom it says "take me to your leader"...lol

Hope everyone has a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I've Been BOOed!

I have been BOO-ed by a friend!! :0)

Now, this is how the Blogging Boo will work. Go to as many friends as you want and tell them they've been "Boo-ed". Have them link back to your blog to pick up their Halloween Treat (picture) and tell them to "Boo" their friends. Then, put the picture in your side bar so everyone knows that you've already been "Boo-ed" and to send the pic to someone else. So, are you scared yet!!?? BOO!! Okay? one more time......

1. Take picture, put on sidebar
2. Tell people they have been booed
3. Link back to who booed you
Okay- Get to BOO-ING!
