Friday Confessional

Photobucket

I'm linking up with Mamarazzi today for Friday Confessional. It's been a while, so I figured I should repent...I mean, confess a few things, so I can go be bad some more this weekend...I mean, so I can feel better about myself going into the weekend.

Mama told me linking up regularly to Friday Confessionals is a free pass into heaven.

You wanna know the real-honest-to-goodness-no-lying reason I'm blogging today?

Connie made me do it.

I confess, if you ever want to get me to do anything, just threaten to take me off your A List or talk mean to me.  It works like a charm.

I confess that Impulsive Addict and I were...well, I don't want to go into details, so just watch the vlog...

I confess that I proposed to Joey at the NKOTBSB concert.  If you're up for another video, you should watch this because it's full of epicness...Joey Mc upclose and personal, me and IA fangirling over him, my proposal, and my declaration of love.  It's good stuff.

My husband told me that I should take the video off of Facebook because it's "ridiculous and embarrassing".  I told him he knew what he was getting into when he married me...we should have worked "I promise to love you even when you're ridiculous and embarrassing" into our vows.

I have TONS more to confess, but this is getting lengthy, so I'll save it for another day.  Happy Friday!

Something Real

Hellooooo, my bloggy friends!  I've been missing you guys.  Sorry for my absence!  It has been a little crazy around here with the Eclipse party and movie watching, July 4th, family visiting, and house construction.  I feel like I meet myself coming and going most days.  My voice was also absent for a few days due to lack of sleep, which I'm sure my family didn't mind, but it's back now and I'm finally feeling a little less busy.  I promise to post pictures of the house this week.

However, today I want to pimp out my amazing cousins' band, Consumed By Fire.

They are a Christian rock band from Oklahoma.
Their new album, Something Real, is being released tomorrow night!!!
I can't wait!
I love them and I love their music.
This is something they have worked so hard on for so long and I'm so happy for them that they are finally seeing it come to fruition.

So, if you're in the area and you want to support an awesome band and hear some AMAZING music, contact me through e-mail or Facebook and I can hook you up with a sweet deal on some tickets.

The concert is tomorrow night at The Rose Bowl Event Center in Tulsa, OK.
You can check out the boys band on Myspace at www.myspace.com/consumedbyfire
You can also click the little play button on the box at the top left corner of my blog and hear one of their songs from the album.

Have I mentioned that they write all of their own music?  Oh, and that they're amazing?
Ok, just making sure. =)

Bon Jovi Pics!

The Bon Jovi concert was AMAZING!! I had the best time and I didn't get arrested, so that was good. :) I also didn't get to make contact with Jon, but it was still a supa fun time. The meanies at the front door wouldn't let me take my good camera into the concert...no, I had to walk it four hundred blocks back to my car and settle for my measley Kodak...which ran out of battery power 30 minutes into the show...thank God for my iPhone. What would I have done without any pictures to document THE Bon Jovi concert? I probably would have just stole some of my friends pics and claimed them for my own borrowed some, but I'm sucha picture freak and I needed my own.

Here's a slideshow of the pictures that I took (not great quality, but the fun level makes up for it).

One more thing before you leave, I found a totally adorable Twilight blog called Trixie and Tess Tell All. They are new to the blogging scene and they're trying to build up some followers and blog traffic. We all know what that's like...been there, done that. They are hosting a giveaway right now and it includes some fabulous New Moon stuff (like a NM DVD, tshirt, and lots of other goodies). Go check it out! Pretty please! You can tell them I sent you. :) Here's the link to the giveaway (CLICK HERE) and here is a link to a couple of really cute and funny posts they have this week (CLICK HERE and HERE).

Hope you guys are having a great week!!♥

Did you ever?

Did you ever have a crush on this guy?

Ever?
Be honest.

Well, I did.
I'm pretty sure it was around 1990-ish and he looked a little more like this...

And it was all thanks to a song that goes a little something like this...

I'll be there for you
These five words I swear to you
When you breathe I want to be the air for you
I'll be there for you
I'd live and I'd die for you
Steal the sun from the sky for you
Words can't say what a love can do
I'll be there for you

You're singing along now aren't you?  It'll be stuck in your head for the rest of the day...you can thank me later. :)  I'll be at the Bon Jovi concert tonight.  If I get close enough for a kiss (oh please oh please oh please), I'll be sure to give him one for you too, k?  I already ran this one by Michael and he's seems to be ok with it...he was rambling something about how it'll never happen I have his full permission or something like that.  He also said that if I get arrested he's not coming to bail me out and he advised me to take an extra bra in case I get an urge to toss mine up on stage.  I pay way too much for these things to toss one up on stage I'm way more mature than that.  Although, I could write my phone number on it...

How big do you think his body guards will be?

Um, if you don't hear from me tomorrow, could you guys start taking up a collection for some bail money?

Ok, who let it get Thursday? Thursday Thankfuls (w/ NKOTB pics!☺)

Seriously, people! It's Thursday??! I feel like this week has just flown by! I had all good intentions of being on my best blogging behavior this week, but unfortunately my blogging badness has carried over into another week! It's horrible. When will the madness stop? I had some crafty things I wanted to share this week, a recipe...and above all else, I wanted to be a good commenter and get around and read everyone's blogs! I've been so missing out on staying on top of my blog reading! When I finally get a chance to get on here and catch up, I feel like I'm a million days behind...ok, that's an exageration...a hundred...well, 10 at least! It's a little overwhelming when you log on and realize that you've missed about 40-50 blog posts! Where's my assistant?!

A few "thankfuls"...
  1. God's goodness. I've really had to rely on my faith the last couple of weeks. Trying to feel better and get all the cooties outta here!
  2. Good coffee. Truly there have been a few days these past couple of weeks if it hadn't been for coffee, I would have walked around like a zombie.
  3. Good friends. I'm always thankful for my friends, but I'm just especially thankful for them this week. You just can't put a price on good friends. They lift us up when were feeling down. They can make us feel young. They create good times and good memories. You know who you are...LOVE YOU GUYS!

One little crafty tid-bit I'd like to share...

My cousin, Traci @ Living The Good Life, had me make a "happy birthday" banner for her daughters birthday. I had never made one THAT long before, but it was so much fun making it!!! I wanted to post pics while I was doing it, or at least a pic of the final product, but was SO BUSY that I failed to do so. However, this morning Traci posted it on her blog! Yippee!! So, I stole a few photos...I'm sure she won't mind....we ARE family after all.

What do you guys think?

Oh, did I tell you I was going to the NKOTB...New Kids On The Block...Concert? Well, I did and it was A-mazing! I'm not even kidding...it was the MOST fun I've had in a long time. For four hours I was 12 again. Although I am a happily married 31 YEAR OLD mom, I still felt like Joey and I might have a chance...I kid...no really. Me and my cousin, Renee @ My Glimpse Of Life (I know LOTS of cousins), went together. I took her for her birthday. Here are a few snip-its from the concert...don't be jealous ;)

Hello, Jordan!

Up close with Danny and Jonathan!

"I LOVE YOU JOEY!!!" ☺

Me and Renee!
Awesome concert!

Check out this video! Can you say good seats?? WOOHOO!
For all of you who love Donnie! (Renee LOVES Donnie!)

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
