Friend Makin' Monday

It's Friend Makin' Monday over at {aefilkins}!

This week's topic comes courtesy of Kenz at All the Weigh.

If life were a movie, which movie would you want to live in?

I know you guys think I'm going to say this...

BUT that would just be sooooo predictable of me. Plus, as much as I love the twisted love of Bella, Edward, and Jacob; I would not want that decision...do you pick the hott-hot-blooded-phaser or the HOTT-cold-blooded-blood-sucker?? Any girl would be lucky to have just ONE person love her as much as Jacob and Edward love Bella...let alone TWO.

I'm a huge fan of all tragic love stories like Romeo and Juliet...but I'm not a fan of the dying part.

I think my top pick would have to be this...

I love the character of Emma Woodhouse. Emma is my favorite Jane Austen book and the interpretation of the book on the big screen is an all time favorite of mine as well. Gwenyth Paltrow plays Emma. She is a strong independent woman. She thinks she never wants to marry, but she finds an unexpected love in Mr. Knightley. I LOVE unexpected love...oh, and I would love love love to live in the 1800's.
What movie would you want to live in? Go on over to Amber's and play along!

New Moon HOTTNESS!

I'm here today for the love of New Moon...and all it's yummy goodness. I don't really have time to be on Blogger...I should totally be punching some numbers and running reports, but these lovely photos captured my attention and I just couldn't NOT share them with all of my fellow Twilighters (Twihards, Twiholics...however you label yourself...you know who you are.)

Without further ado...

Let the love triangle unfold...it does make for a great story, doesn't it? I love Jacob for the fact that if his love for Bella (and her's for him) didn't exist, the Twilight Saga would have ended a lot sooner. So, thank you Jacob for loving Bella.

Holy HoTTness...it's Edward Cullen!
Thank you Lord for New Moon and the fine features you bestowed up on our very own Edward Cullen. It's much appreciated.

...did I mention that I would like to give thanks for Edward being so hott?

Once again, I would like to give thanks for Edward being so HOTT...however, I do not give thanks for this portion of New Moon. At this point in the book, I was ready to throw my copy of New Moon out of my bedroom window and make it my life's mission to make Stephenie's life as miserable as possible (but I totally don't feel that way now, of course...but at the time...well, you know what I mean.) Oh, but I am thankful for Edward and Bella's reunion in Italy and all of the Shirtless Rob pics floating around the internet...thank you for those!
This makes my heart melt...I'm going home to re-read New Moon...TONIGHT!
Yeah, this one...
Hellloooo, CUTE boys! :)
The whole cast...

In case you aren't keeping count, there are only 116 days until New Moon (that's like 2,784 hours...or 167,040seconds).
For the 11th (eleventh) and 20th (twentieth) commenter (if there are that many...if not, I'll do a random drawing), I have a New Moon teaser poster w/ your name on it! If you're a Jacob fan let me know. The first person to declare their love for Jacob will get a Jacob poster!

I would like to give a big THANK YOU to Michelle (from Tickled Pink) for my WAY cool magnet she sent me...that she bought while in Forks, WA (yeah, THE Forks!) over the 4th of July! Thank you, Michelle! You're awesome! I love owning something that came from Forks! :) It will reside with the rest of my Twilight treasures in my office and every time I look at it I will think of you. :)
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Enjoy your week!

My Twilight Movie Blog

Twilight is completely AWESOME! Like Melissa and others have said it is amazing...and awesome...and well, amazing. I just can't sing its praises enough. I have thought about the movie like non-stop since I watched it Friday at 5:50 central standard time. Now, don't get me wrong...I did sit there and scrutinize. There were a few parts that weren't exact from the book, but I realize for entertainment purposes the director has to change things. I get that. The casting was so right on for most of the roles. I mean Kristen Stewart, she is Bella...she is exactly like I pictured her to be while reading the books. Rob Pattinson is cute and all, but playing Edward Cullen is what makes him HOTT! I also think they were right on with Alice...she so cute and pixey like, just as I imagined her. The movie is a great translation of the book. Let me just say that it was better than I ever could have imagined and I LOVE it...and can't wait to see it again...and I don't mean waiting 'til it's out on DVD! However, I will be purchasing that as well...but I've already made plans to see it again on Wednesday (tomorrow).

Here's a pic of my ticket!

This is where we went and watched Twilight :)

It was in theater 13...not sure why I felt the need to take this picture...I'm so weird.

Here is me and Mary after the movie. I tried taking a picture while in the theater and you would have thought I had committed a crime...geez, can't a girl capture memories?!?!

Here we are in front of the theater in our "Team Cullen" shirts, you can't see them very well, but they were SO cool! (We're complete dorks)

If you haven't already seen the movie, go see it!!!
