Thank you, Jesus!

Kate GOES home...FINALLY!

She will be welcomed by her 8 children, who she said "love to watch her on DWTS".
After all, she was doing it all for them.
Meanwhile, they were being cared for by their nanny.
All the while, she was wasting our viewing time on DWTS with her
whines
complains

and horrible dancing

Does she look possessed in that one?

Tony is one of the nicest professionals on DWTS and she got him to walk out on her.

I guess we know one thing she's good at...being a bitch which I won't say, because I don't talk like that.

Kate deserved to go home a long time ago, Buzz Aldrin was putting in more effort and hard work than she was...and I never saw him roll his eyes...not even once!

Who would you choose for a partner?  Hmmm?
I'm normally not a hater, but this chick works my nerves in the worst way.

Who is your favorite star left on DWTS?
Also, who do you predict will win this season...if your guess is right, there will be a PRIZE waiting for you at the end of the season!

On The Wings Of...Lust

Yes, Jake picked the Hillbilly Backwoods Debutante, Vienna. I was not shocked. I didn't read any spoilers, but I was reading Jake and I'm pretty sure that he said that stuff to Tenley on the boat to kind of warn her about what was going to happen.  Tenley is so so super sweet.  She definitely deserves to have someone who is going to love her as much as she loves them.  I guess if Jake had any hesitations, I'm glad he let her go...better now than down the road.
I may be reacting a little harshly, but I really truly feel like Jake picked Vienna because he's attracted to her physically and not much more. On a side note, did you guys notice that she was already talking trash about Tenley to Jake's sister-in-laws?!  She is such a little trouble-maker!  I think she'll be causin' trouble for Jake down the road.  I may be wrong. It's happened before. We'll see how it goes.

My husband has officially banned The Bachelor from our living room.  (whateva)  I'm stoked about Ali being the next Bachelorette.  Michael also said there would be no more DWTS (he gets real carried away with his bans)...that was until he saw that Erin Andrews was going to be a contestant, so we're back on for DWTS.  My pre-season favorites are Olympian, Evan Lysacek and ESPN reporter, Erin Andrews...only because she's dancing with Maks.

Who is your pre-season pick for DWTS?

Friend Makin' Monday! ♥

It's FMMs over at {aefilkins}, who is expecting a new addition come May 2010! (you should run over there and congratulate her! Congratulations, Amber!!)

This week on FMMs we're discussing our FAV FAB FALL shows (that I am personally anxiously awaiting...I've already got my DVR set!)

So, Amber wants to know -

Since fall is {almost} in full swing, you know what that means!
Season premiere week is right around the corner!!
What are some of your favorite fall shows?

Fall is my FAV season for TV! All my shows premier sometime from September to October. I've got the DVR set and I'm preparing for less sleep. I usually have to watch the DVR'd version after Isaiah hits the hay. So, I'm usually up WAY past my bedtime, but it's oh-so-worth it! I love me some good TV.

Ugly Betty, who wouldn't love this show?! Betty is so real and human...and NOT perfect. I LOVE her! I secretly want her and Daniel to be together. I'm so sad that Daniel lost Molly and it seems that Betty can never catch a break. They would be so perfect together. Besides, she already loves taking care of him. It's so cute. Ahhhh. Amanda and Marc just top it off. They're so sneaky and snotty and just down-right nasty...and I LOVE them! October 9 @ 8/7c! I can't wait!

Grey's...what's to say? We all know and love this show, right? If you don't, then you SHOULD! It's the best. My question hanging from last season is will Izzy live or die? In my opinion, she has to live. How can you have Grey's and NOT have Izzy? I'm very very sad that George is making his exit. I cried a river on the season finale. I can't wait until the season premier...I've GOT to know what is going on at Seattle Grace!! September 24 9/8c!

PRIVATE PRACTICE! LOVE this show! I love Addison and her revolving love life. I really want SWAT guy back! He was hott! I'm anxiously awaiting to see what happens to Violet and her baby! I can't believe that these crazzzzy TV producers think it's ok to leave a person hanging for so many month...wondering if someone lives or dies...does the crazy lady take the baby...what happens to Violet? It's all too much really. I feel like writing them a piece of hate mail, but fortunately for them, the new season is about to begin! October 1 (my birthday! Happy Birthday to ME!) @ 10/9c!

Dancing with the Stars = hot guys with no shirts (like Maksim)!!! WOOT! I'm always appauled at some of the "stars" they get to come on this show...really? WHO ARE YOU??...and you're HOW OLD? Paahhhleeeaaassee! However, the few talented stars and the hot hot professionals make up for some of that. Plus, the old geezers always provide good entertainment...a chuckle here and there. I say bring back Cloris!

Hope everyone has a mah-velous Monday!♥

Extreme Makeover {Me Edition}

I'm participating in {aefilkins} Extreme Makeover {Me edition}. This is my first time to play along. I'm usually just hopping around reading everyone else's inspiring posts. A few months ago, I really started trying to lose weight and get in better shape. I've currently lost 14 pounds 16.2 pounds (I just got back from my WW meeting and lost 2.2 pounds...YAY)! I'm super excited about that. I really do want to experience an EXTREME Makeover...ME edition! To be healthy, in every aspect of the word, is my main goal right now.

Each week, Amber or one of her followers, will offer up a question in regards to weight loss or healthy living. To participate, you just have to check out Amber's blog on Wednesdays and write a post about the topic...then go back and link up, of course!

This week's question is brought to us by Shortmama from Family of Shorts. Her question is:

Who is your biggest supporter/motivator in your weight loss?

I think my biggest supporter(s) right now are my co-workers. We are all attending a lunchtime Weight Watchers meeting each Wednesday. This has been so helpful! Number one, it keeps me accountable! I think accountability is HUGE in weight loss success. Without it, it is sooooo easy to fall off the wagon. It's easy to be bad when no one is looking. So, I have to credit them with keeping me on track. They also help me eat healthy. We all decided as a group that we would only eat out once a week during lunch. We have been bringing healthy lunches and eating in everyday except one. Even on the day we go out, we count our points and keep it all in check. We also exchange good recipes and ideas for staying full. They really are my biggest supporters. We even started an office weight loss chart that tracks how many pounds we have lost all together!
Do you have anyone around you that tries to sabotage you by "talking" you in to eating the not so good stuff?
There are a few people who are my "sabotagers" and they may not even know who they are, but they are people who enable me to eat the things that I would rather not. The nice thing about WW is that NOTHING is "off limits". It is a lifestyle, not a "diet". So, it's not that I can't have things, it's that I choose not to. So, I guess my sabotagers are anyone (mainly family) who eat things that I would like to eat, but choose not to eat. This is getting easier though. It's getting easier for me to look at food in a whole new light. I see the fat, the calories...and I can even see past that to the way I would feel if I would eat that. It's getting easier to put things into perspective.

In addition to this, I would like to share with you my two BIGGEST weight loss helps...
My fav workout DVD...Hellooooo, Maksim! Can you say 'motivation'?! ☺ This 100+ Oklahoma heat is making it BRUTAL to get outside and exercise, so I've been resorting to indoor workouts. It's not the easiest workout dvd, but it is fun, it makes me break a sweat, and bust a move...and did I mention Maksim?

And this...my reusable stainless steel water bottle. I LOVE IT! I put filtered water in it and it tastes so clean. I know that sounds weird, but the water doesn't pick up any yuckiness like it does sometimes in plastic bottles. It's green. It's good. I got this one at Old Navy for less than $10. Starbucks has some REALLY cute ones too.

One last thing...

I am in the process of gathering up some CUTE things to send out to all of you who commented on my Commenting for a Cause post. So, PLEASE...if you commented on that post...PLEASE e-mail me your address (jaltman@goldenfieldservices.com). I promise that I'm not going to send you anything besides my token of appreciation for commenting on my blog and commenting for a cause. I'm not an axe murderer. I won't turn it into a telemarketer. I won't send hate mail. I've been trying to go to each of your blogs and send an e-mail directly to you, but some of you don't have an e-mail attached to your blog. So, please please please send me an e-mail with your name and address. I can't let this super cute stuff go to waste!
Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Wednesday!
